I find it handy to post in one in post as then I know what current competitions I got running. Especially for daily gleam comps for extra entries. Even with bookmarking and organising them into folders I forget to enter daily and when they expire. I found I couple I had forgotten about when I posted some comps just after New Year.

The only note if it's a referral link I find it the etiquette to label as such so people are aware. :) I'm suprised we don't all utilise referral chains for comps more often. Good case for another category in the forum or an easier way to see if there are comments for a comp on competitions.com.au.

Good Luck

What are daily gleam?

@Annaar

I was referring to Gleam run competitions. See https://gleam.io/

They manage a lot of competitions for promoters for a fee, using an applet. Usually the competitions are for random draws. It saves promoters the effort of managing mass emails and the running of the competition. There are a few other sites that do a similar service eg Robocopter.

They usually require registration and entry using various social media. Eg email, facebook, twitter, instragram etc. Extra entries may be obtained completing daily tasks for more entries, and referring the competition for extra entries. They use this option to encourage the competition to be promoted.

If you scroll down the forum under General Chatter a few days most of the competitions I listed are Gleam run with a referral link.
Eg.
Prize: Sara Paxton Artworks Giveaway Limited edition print
End Date: 20/1/2016
Referral LInk: https://wn.nr/w3GB4

Note: Entering the competition via my personal referral link gives me extra entries. It's why I label it as a "Referral Link". If I label it as "Link" it's a direct link to the competition . The referral links for Gleam look similar the one I just posted above.

I'm not sure if competitions.com.au have listed this example. I found it doing a search thou have since found it on a couple of sites.

The problem with entering a lot of Gleam run competitions at the same time is remembering to log in daily to each competition for the extra entries. One of the reasons I posted a few in a post. Easier then setting up a spreadsheet as a reminder. :)

Note:
Not all Gleam run competitions have daily tasks for extra daily entries, however most do.
Example of a daily tasks:
Sending a twitter message to promote the competition.
Viewing a youtube video.

Thank you! I thought Gleem might have been a code word for something on here...

I recall you mentioning trying to keep tabs on the comps... Spreadsheet is easy as you can just click on the link and it will open in a browser...

I'm trying to tidy up my bookmarks, but for now it's two steps forward and one step back.. started gardening and bookmarking too many hints and tips
