Import Duties and GST on competition prizes won

Is there any import duties and/or GST on prizes won for international competitions?

The only reference I can find so far is at the following link section 25:

Has anyone had experience with a winning a international competition and the prize incurred any duties/gst etc? Especially regarding electronics phones etc.

Occasional I come across terms and conditions where postage and other costs may be incurred. Generally it looks though postage is included with the prize win.
