Who can enter the competition?

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and older. Employees of Ritchies Supermarkets, Liquor stores, Prize Providers, and their immediate families are ineligible to participate. Immediate family includes parent, sibling, child, or spouse.

When does the competition close?

The competition starts on September 11, 2024, and final entries must be submitted by the close of business or 11:00 pm local time (whichever is earlier) on October 8, 2024.

How can someone enter the competition?

To enter, participants must spend $40 or more in one transaction (excluding tobacco, gift cards, iTunes, and electronic recharge) at a participating Ritchies Supermarket or Liquor store. Entries can be submitted by:
a) Visiting www.ritchies.com.au/birthday and filling out the entry form online, keeping the original receipt as proof of purchase.
b) Scanning the QR code found on Ritchies 154th Birthday promotional material in-store and completing the entry form.

What prizes can be won, and what is the total prize pool?

The total prize pool is valued at up to AU$1,604,624. The competition offers a variety of prizes, including:
- Five (5) participants will win a chance to attend the $1.54 Million Dollar Competition. One of these participants will have the opportunity to draw for AU$1,540,000 at the Finalist Event.
- The next 300 entries will each win a $100 Ritchies Gift Card. Gift cards will be available for collection within 10 business days from the store the winner selected on their entry form.
- At the Finalist Event, one (1) participant will draw for the AU$1.54 million prize, with odds of 1 in 200. If unsuccessful, they will receive a consolation prize of AU$10,000.
