WHO CAN ENTER?Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
The Promotion is open to individuals who:
i. are residents of NSW, ACT, SA, WA, NT, QLD or New Zealand (residents of Victoria & Tasmania are not eligible to enter); and
ii. are 18 years of age or older; and
iii. are not employees (or immediate family of such employees) of the Promoter,
or any of their related corporations or any of the agencies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of the prize); and
iv. have not been discovered to have breached Conditions of Entry of previous contests run by the Promoter (“Entrants”).
Immediate family members means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The Promotion commences on Thursday 2 October 2014 at 12.01am (AEST) and
concludes on Wednesday 26 November 2014 at 23:39 (AEDT) (“Promotion Period”).
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the Draw an Entrant will be required to, during the Promotion Period:
i. Make a ticket purchase at Event, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinema online at www.eventcinemas.com.au; or www.eventcinemas.co.nz; or via the Event Cinema iPhone, iPad or android application or via mobile phones at m.eventcinemas.com.au, at m.eventcinemas.co.nz during the competition dates to automatically be entered into the draws;
ii. Entrants will receive one entry into the draw for each transaction.
PRIZES:
There will be five (5) draws and one Prize to be won in each Draw; Draw 1 made from eligible entries received from NSW/ACT;
Draw 2 made from eligible entries received from QLD
Draw 3 made from eligible entries received from SA
Draw 4 made from eligible entries received from WA/NT
Draw 5 made from eligible entries received from New Zealand
The first Eligible entry drawn at random from each Draw will be a winner. There will be 5 winners of the Promotion and each will be eligible to participate in the Envelope Selection as described in condition 21 of these Terms & Conditions.
The first valid entry drawn in each Draw will win the opportunity to take part in the Envelope Selection ceremony on Friday, 12 December 2014 at a location in the Sydney CBD to be determined by the Promoter. The Winners of Draws 2, Draw 3, Draw 4 & Draw 5 will be flown to Sydney each with a travel companion, from their nearest Australian capital city (or Christchurch, Wellington or Auckland for the New Zealand winner). Trip includes two return economy airfares to a maximum value of AU$2,000 (flight associated taxes included), 2 night’s twin share accommodation at a 4 star hotel of the Promoter’s choice including breakfasts .Total value of the trip to Sydney is AU$ 2,700.
The NSW Winner and their companion will receive all elements of the travel component, except the airfares ie. 2 night’s twin share accommodation at a 4 star hotel of the Promoter’s choice including breakfasts. For the Draw 1 winner the value of this aspect of the prize is AU$700.
The chance of the Winner selecting the Grand Prize envelope is one in 1,000. The chance of the Winner selecting a Major Prize is 1 in 100.
