Who can enter?The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over who own their home. Employees of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA), their close relatives, and individuals connected to the competition are ineligible.
When does the competition close?The competition closes on January 20, 2025, at 11:00 PM AEDT.
How can one enter?To enter:
1. Visit the designated posts on MHIAA's Facebook or Instagram pages.
2. Comment on the post answering: "What's your funniest method for staying extra cool in the summer heat? Tell us where you're based and share your coolest tip – the most creative answer wins!" You may include a photo for additional impact.
3. Include your current city of residence.
4. Ensure all required information is provided in your submission.
What are the prizes?Two winners will each receive:
- A Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 3.5kW Avanti Split System with built-in Wi-Fi (DXK12ZSA-WF1-SET).
- Installation of the unit.
Total prize value per winner: $3,000.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool is $6,000.
How are winners selected?Winners will be chosen based on the innovation, humour, and creativity of their entries. The decision will be made by MHIAA on January 24, 2025.
How will winners be notified?Winners will be notified via private message on the platform they entered (Facebook or Instagram) within 7 days of the decision.
Additional details:- Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of notification or the prize will be forfeited, and a replacement winner will be chosen.
- Winners may be required to submit a selfie video documenting their experience with the air conditioner, including installation, trying it out, and their reaction to winning.
- The prize is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred.
- By entering, participants agree to the use of their entry comments and imagery for MHIAA’s social media and marketing purposes.
