1. Eligibility
Australian residents aged 18 years or over are eligible to enter this Promotion, excluding residents of
Tasmania and Northern Territory. Employees of the Promoter (or any related entity of the Promoter)
and their Immediate Families are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
2. Entry
By entering this Promotion, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. A person may only enter
this Promotion once and must enter this Promotion during the Promotion Period. In order for the
Promoter to notify the winner, the entrant must provide his or her full name, postcode, contact
number and e-mail address. The Promoter may deem an incomplete entry invalid. Entrants agree to
the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and to receive deal email alerts (that they can opt-out of at anytime). To
enter, entrants must complete the online entry form available on the Scoopon website
(www.scoopon.com.au/promo/SmurfsGiveaway) providing their full name, email address, contact
number and postcode. For an additional 25 bonus entries, entrants can share their unique URL link
provided after submitting the entry form and if an entrant’s friend enters using this link, those 25
bonus entries will be assigned to the original entrant.
3. Prize
There will be a total of 25 individual prizes (25 winners). Each winner will receive a ‘Smurfs: The Lost
Village’ merchandise pack, consisting of:
• 1 x backpack;
• 1 x t-shirt;
• 1 x stationary set;
• 1 x frisbee;
• 1 x luggage tag; and
• 1 x family in-season pass to see the movie.
Each individual prize is valued at $140.00. The total prize pool is valued at $3,550.00. Family passes are
valid for use from opening day of March the 30th 2017 in Victoria and Queensland, and from April the
6th 2017 in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia. Passes are valid for 1 session of
‘Smurfs: The Lost Village’ only, for 4 people. Passes are valid at participating cinemas only; check your
local cinema directories for available session times. Pass can be redeemed even in ‘No Free Tickets’
sessions. Offer does not include the cost of 3D glasses. 3D surcharges will apply for 3D sessions at
Village Cinemas, Event Cinemas and Greater Union + Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas.
Passes cannot be redeemed for:
• Village Cinemas Gold Class, special event sessions, Vmax;
• EVENT Cinemas special events, Gold Class, Vmax, 3D;
• Greater Union + Birch Carroll & Coyle special Events, Gold Class, Vmax, 3D;
• HOYTS LUX, Bean Bag Cinema, Xtremescreen, HOYTS IMAX ® or special events;
• Ace Gold Lounge and ACE Amax Cinema;
• Reading Cinemas Gold Lounge, Titan XC and 3D;
• Dendy Premium or Lounge Cinema; or
• Grand Gold Lounge or Grand Cinemax.
Passes are not valid for use on:
• Public holidays;
• Tuesdays or other discount days; or
• Fridays and Saturdays after 5pm.
Passes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Seating is subject to availability. Prizes are
not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash. If a prize is unavailable, the
Promoter may substitute that prize with a prize that is equal in value or type, subject to any written
directions from a regulatory authority. The Prize will be subject to the terms and conditions of the
providers of the Prize.
4. Draw
The winners of the prizes will be drawn at 12pm AEDT on the 23rd of March 2017. The winner will be
drawn by random selection. The draw for the prizes will take place at the Promoter’s Office. The
Promoter reserves the right to request the winner provide proof of identity and/or proof of residency.
The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of any prize claim or entry
before awarding the prizes.
5. Winners
The winners of the prizes will be announced on the Promoter’s Facebook page and website
(www.scoopon.com.au) from 3pm AEDT on the 23rd of March 2017. The winners of the prizes must sign
any release form that may be required by the Promoter or supplier of a prize. After announcement of
the winners, the Promoter will notify the winners via email and phone to arrange delivery of the prize.
6. Unclaimed or forfeited prize
If a prize is unclaimed or forfeit, the Promoter will draw a winner for the unclaimed prize 1 month after
the initial draw at 12pm AEDT on the 23rd of April 2017, using the same method specified in section 4
and will notify the winner using the same method specified in section 5. The redraw will take place at
the Promoter’s Office.
7. Forfeited prize
The Promoter may forfeit a prize if a winner refuses to sign any release form specified in section 5 or a
winner refuses to accept a prize in accordance with these terms.
8. Entrant’s personal information
By entering this Promotion, the entrant consents to:
a. the Promoter, or any of its affiliated entities, using the entrant’s details for future marketing
and promotional purposes, except if notified otherwise by the entrant;
b. if entrants are winners, the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and voice in any
media platform; and
c. disclosing the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including agents, contractors

9. Promoter’s rights
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and
place of residence). The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these terms and conditions, who tampers with the entry process or who uses
automated entry software or other mechanical or electronic means that allows a person to
automatically enter repeatedly. The Promoter may either disqualify an entrant or modify, suspend,
terminate or cancel this Promotion if this Promotion is interfered with or this Promotion is not capable
of being conducted as reasonably expected due to a reason beyond the control of the Promoter,
including technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, subject to any written directions
from a regulatory authority.
10. Promoter’s liability
To the maximum extent permissible by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, expense,
damage or liability (including death or personal injury) that may be suffered or incurred by a person in
entering this Promotion or accepting and using the prizes, howsoever arising. If the Promoter is liable,
the Promoter’s liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or services. This section 10 does not
alter a person’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
