WHO CAN ENTER?Promotion is only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged at least 18 years old or over who are members of Hotels.com's Welcome Rewards scheme. For the sake of clarity, individuals that become a member of Hotels.com’s Welcome Rewards scheme during the Promotional Period will still be eligible to enter.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
The Promotion commences on 23 May 2014 and all entries must be received by 11:59pm AEST on 24 June 2014 (“Promotional Period”).
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Promotion, eligible individuals must, during the Promotional Period, complete the entry method outlined below that applies to them:
a) Eligible Individuals who are existing Hotels.com email newsletter subscribers as at 22 May 2014 will receive a promotional email from Hotels.com advertising the Promotion (“Promotional Email”). They must then view the Promotional Email, input their full name and a valid email address into the entry fields on the Promotional Email, click on the relevant check box to agree to these Terms and Conditions, and then click the "Enter Now" icon; OR
b) Eligible individuals who are not existing Hotels.com email newsletter subscribers as at 22 May 2014 must visit the Website, follow the prompts to the promotional entry page, input their full name and a valid email address into the entry fields on the entry form, click on the relevant check box to subscribe to Hotels.com email newsletters, click on the relevant check box to agree to these Terms and Conditions, and then click the "Enter Now" icon.
PRIZES:
The first three (3) valid entries drawn will each win a one (1) night stay at any participating Welcome Rewards hotel, worth up to AU$250. Each prize will be awarded in the form of ten (10) bonus loyalty Welcome Rewards credits, which will be credited to each winner’s Welcome Rewards account within ten (10) business days of them being confirmed as a prize winner by Hotels.com. Hotel stays must be completed by 24 May 2015 and are subject to availability. If a prize is redeemed against a hotel stay worth less than AU$250, no additional compensation will be provided. Taxes and fees relating to the hotel stay are not covered by the prizes and must be paid by the prize winners. Prizes are subject to the Welcome Rewards Terms and Conditions, see www.hotels.com/customer_care/pillar/welcomerewards.html. The prizes cannot be applied to the cost of any previously purchased reservations or other miscellaneous charges. The winners are responsible for paying all associated costs that are not specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions, including (where applicable) transport costs, additional accommodation costs, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals. The winners and their companions (if applicable) are responsible for obtaining valid passports and visas and, where appropriate, obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations for foreign travel. The winners are also personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using their prize. The winners may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
