G Adventures ‘World of Good’ Promotion Terms & Conditions
This Promotion (“Promotion”) is only open to residents aged eighteen (18) or over, in Australia and New Zealand. Employees of the Promoter (as more fully defined under clause 30) OMD Melbourne, 6th Floor, 650 Chapel Street, VIC 3141, their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this Promotion are excluded from this Promotion.

Promotion Period (“Promotion Period”): The Promotion Period begins and entries will be accepted beginning at 09.00 AEDT on Tuesday 1st November 2016 and the Promotion Period ends at 23.59 AEDT on Wednesday 30th November 2016.
To Enter: Please read the following rules carefully as it is your responsibility to ensure that your entry complies with the rules and regulations set out below.
Visit the competition landing page at www.gadventures.com.au/world-of-good and complete the required electronic entry form, during the Promotion Period.
No purchase or payment is necessary; however entrants must have a valid email address and valid passport to travel before 31st December 2016.

There is no maximum number of entries allowed per person throughout the Promotion Period.
The Prizes: There shall be three winners (“Winners”). The first three eligible entries drawn will be the winners. The winners shall each win the following Prize (“Prize” – see also clause 7): Each winner will receive a G Adventures trip for four people on the 8 day Inca Discovery (PID) tour with return economy flights, subject to these Terms & Conditions. G Adventures reserves the right to make substitutions with regards to the Prize in its discretion, and in such event G Adventures will provide the Winner with a trip of similar value. The maximum retail value of each prize is AU$14,596. The total maximum prizepool value is AU$43,788.
All prizes will include economy return flights from the nearest major international airport to the Winner’s home in Australia or New Zealand, and accommodation. Flight route and airline will be at the sole discretion of G Adventures. The Prize does not include spending money, airport transfers, VISA costs, travel insurance, any related vaccinations or medical costs and any other fees and expenses which may be incurred by the Winner prior to, during or after travel. Each winner is responsible for ensuring that he or she is legally eligible to travel to the destination offered as part of the Prize and must hold a valid passport.
As a condition of entry, all Winners agree to be accompanied on their trip by a representative from G Adventures who will film parts of their trip and take photographs. Entrants agree that by entering this Promotion they consent to photos and videos being taken in the event that they are chosen as a Winner and agree to hereby grant a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to G Adventures, its affiliates and assigns, to reproduce for any purpose whatsoever (including marketing and promotions), in any medium whatsoever, whether currently known or hereinafter devised, without any further obligation to the Winner or compensation payable to such Winner.
Prize must be redeemed by Winners before Friday 16th December 2016 as part of the Promotion Terms & Conditions.
Winner Selection: Once the Promotion closes G Adventures shall seek support from a third party representative to randomly pick the three winners by a Government Approved Promotion Selection software. The decision of G Adventures shall be final and binding in all matters.
The winner selection shall be conducted at 2.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 2nd December 2016 at MDSA, Ground Floor, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 and winners will be notified by email by 4.00 AEDT on the same day. Winners will be published in The Australian newspaper on Friday 9th December 2016.
All valid entries submitted during the Promotion Period prior to an applicable Entry Period will qualify for consideration during that Entry Period and any subsequent Entry Periods, and shall not be restricted to the Entry Period in which it was submitted.
Winner Notification: Winner selection shall be conducted Friday 2nd December 2016 and winner will be notified by email at 16.00 AEDT on the same day.
The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of a Winner not claiming any Prize. If any Prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct a further draw, as required, at the same time and place as the original draw, on Thursday 9th March 2017. The winner/s, if any, will be notified by email on the same date of the redraw. Any second chance draw winner/s will be published in The Australian newspaper on Thursday 16th March 2017.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected, network failure or delayed. G Adventures is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry of information by entrants; lost entries or transmissions, interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical malfunctions or the computer hardware, software, or any combination thereof; or problems associated with any virus or any other damage caused to entrants' systems. G Adventures is not responsible for any technical problems related to online entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by G Adventures. All entries become the property of G Adventures and will not be acknowledged or returned. G Adventures is not liable for lost, stolen, misdirected or late entries.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable to any Prize Winner for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize.
The Promoter and any associated companies involved in the Promotion, make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the Prize destination. It is the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companions to first check with all government travel advisory information regarding the safety and any other situation at the Prize destination.
The participant agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and keep the Promoter fully indemnified from and against all liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, loss, damage, costs or expenses howsoever suffered or incurred by the participant, and shall reimburse the Promoter for any sum, cost, or expense (including any legal or professional fees) incurred, payable or paid by the Promoter to any person (including the participant’s insurers) in connection with any accident, loss, damage or injury (including death) arising out of the participant’s participation in the Promotion.
The Winner shall indemnify the Promoter on demand against all losses suffered or incurred by the Promoter arising out of any claim against the Promoter that the use or possession of entry materials provided as part of an entry infringes any copyright or other intellectual property right belonging to any other person.
Any and all intellectual property rights vested in or arising from the entry including but not limited to copyrights shall remain the exclusive property of the Promoter at all times. Nothing in the Terms & Conditions intends to transfer any such rights to, or to vest any such rights in the Winner.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable unless otherwise stated and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason a Prize Winner does not take any element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the Prize shall be forfeited by the Winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation shall be supplied in lieu of that element of the Prize, unless otherwise agreed. If due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries (this includes, without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion), subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority.
If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Terms & Conditions, the entry shall be discarded and a new Winner of the Prize shall be determined by the Promoter.
In all aspects of this Promotion, the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the Promotion.
The name of the Winners may also be obtained by emailing the Promoter at Melbourne@gadventures.com or sending a self-stamped addressed envelope World of Good Competition, G Adventures Pty Ltd, Level 3, 28 Clarendon St, Southbank VIC 3006 to arrive within twenty eight (28) days after the end of the Promotion Period.
Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties shall not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full shall be disqualified and shall not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that person’s entries shall be disqualified and any Prize award shall be void.
Entrants will be required to submit personal information on the electronic entry form, such as entrant's name, email address and other information. Information collected from entrants may be used, processed, shared and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Promotion and any other purpose outlined in these Terms & Conditions. Information collected from entrants is subject to G Adventures’ Privacy Policy which is available at gadventures.com.au/terms-conditions/privacy/.
By entering this Promotion, all participants shall be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
G Adventures reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions in its sole discretion without notice or the consent of the entrants.
Each provision of these Terms & Conditions is distinct and severable. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions, in whole or in part, is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the illegality, invalidity or unenforceability of that provision will not affect the legality, validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions, or the legality, validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.
This Promotion shall be governed by laws of Australia and the jurisdiction of the Courts of Australia.
