Who can enter the Plenty Foods Recipe Competition?

The competition is open to permanent residents of Australia who are not employees, family members, or anyone else connected with Plenty Foods or the competition setup.

When does the competition close?

Entries close at 5 pm (AEST) on Monday, January 15th, 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

Entrants must submit a recipe that uses any amount of oil throughout the process. The recipe, including all ingredients and steps, must be written down and submitted online using the form on the promotional website page: www.plentyfoods.com.au/competition.

What are the prizes for the winners?

There are five winners who will each receive $200, a selection of Plenty Foods oils (selected at the discretion of Plenty Foods Pty Ltd), and the opportunity for their recipe to be featured in Plenty’s 2024 Christmas Cookbook and Planner.

What is the total prize pool amount?

The total prize pool is valued at over $1,000, with each of the five winners receiving prizes worth approximately $200 each.

Are there any alternative prizes offered?

No alternative prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.

How will winners be selected and notified?

Winners will be selected by a panel of three judges appointed by the promoter based on the “most delicious recipe”. The winners will be drawn randomly at 67 William St, Kingaroy QLD 4610 after January 15th, 2024. Winners will be notified by email and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.

What additional terms apply to entrants and winners?

By entering, participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy of Plenty Foods Pty Ltd. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law. Winners agree to the use of their name and image in publicity material. Personal data of entrants will be used in accordance with Australian data protection legislation. Entrants grant a perpetual license to the promoter to use their submitted recipe content for promotional and communication purposes. Winners and entrants indemnify Plenty Foods from any legal action or damage resulting from their negligence or misconduct.
