When will the competition start and end?The competition starts at 12:01 am (AEST) on 28/06/2023 and ends at 11:59 pm (AEST) on 29/09/23 (the Competition Period).
Who can enter?Entry is open to Australian residents aged 21 years or older who can take the major prize on dates determined by the Promoter to coincide with the 2023 UFC Fight Night in New York City, USA (expected in November 2023). Entrants must also hold a current and valid passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity at the date of departure. Exclusions include certain individuals, such as Promoter employees, past prize winners exceeding AUD $5,000 in the past year, and those who have breached prior competition terms and conditions.
Do I need to buy anything to enter?Yes, during the Competition Period, you need to make a Qualifying Purchase, which includes buying any 2 x 500ml or 1 x multipack (4x500ml) of Monster Energy® products or 2 x 305ml of Java Monster® products in one transaction from a participating store. Online and vending machine purchases are excluded. You must retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
How can I enter?After making a Qualifying Purchase and collecting your receipt, follow these steps during the Competition Period:
a) Scan the QR code on the in-store advertising material with your smartphone or visit www.monsterenergy.com/promotions (Website).
b) Locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including uploading an image of your Qualifying Purchase receipt and providing requested information.
How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?There will be a total of 105 winners: 100 minor winners and 5 major winners. A draw will be conducted on 05/10/23, with the first 5 valid entries drawn randomly winning the major prize, and the next 100 valid entries drawn randomly winning a minor prize.
What can I win?There are 105 prizes available. Each minor prize is a Monster Energy UFC Beanie valued at AUD $45. Each major prize is a trip to New York City, USA, for the winner and one adult companion valued at up to AUD $11,580. The major prize includes tickets to the UFC Fight Night, accommodation, return flights, and a AUD $500 International VISA debit card.
What is the total worth of the prize?The total minor prize pool is AUD $4,500. The total major prize pool is valued at up to AUD $57,900. The overall total prize pool is valued at up to AUD $62,400.
How many times can I enter?There is a limit of 10 entries per person, email address, and phone number in total. You can enter once per day and once per receipt showing a Qualifying Purchase.
How and when will the winner be informed?Winners will be informed in writing within two business days of determination, and their names and state/territory of residence will be published on the Website on 9/10/23 for a period of 28 days.
Must I keep anything to verify my entry?You must keep the original itemised purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce proof of purchase may result in disqualification.
If I win, when must I claim my prize?Prizes must be claimed by 5pm (AEDT) on 25/10/2023.
