Who can enter the contest and when does it close?

The contest is open to all residents of Australia, excluding Special Broadcasting Services Corporation’s (“SBS”) employees, associated companies, and their immediate families. The contest closes on Monday, 22 April 2024, at 11:59 pm (AEST).

How can one enter the contest?

Participants must visit https://sbs.com.au/food, fill in their details, including name, email, and address, and agree to be automatically signed up to the SBS Food newsletter.

What are the prizes and how are winners selected?

The prize consists of 6 x $500 IGA Gift Vouchers, with a total prize pool valued at AUD$3000 (RRP) inclusive of GST. Winners are selected randomly from all valid entries submitted during the specified Promotional Period.

When and how will winners be notified?

All prize draws will occur on Friday, 26 April 2024, at midday (AEST). Winners will be notified by phone, email, and/or mail within 2 days of the end of the competition. Winners' names will also be published on the SBS Food site no later than 3 months after the prize draw.

What happens in the event of unclaimed prizes?

An unclaimed prize draw will take place three months after the initial draw, on Friday, 26 July 2024, at midday (AEST). Winners of unclaimed prizes will be notified by phone or email within 2 days of the unclaimed prize draw.

Are there any final conditions to note?

SBS reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process. Winners must comply with all conditions of use of the prize. SBS’s determination of the winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. All entries become the property of SBS.
