Who can enter the VitaPet Australia Pet of the Month Competition 2023?

When does the competition close and how can one enter?
The competition runs from 12:00 am (AEDT) on Monday, January 1, 2024, until 11:59 pm (AEDT) on Sunday, June 30, 2024. To enter, visit the Promotion Website at https://vitapet.com/au/vitapet-of-the-month, fill out the entry form, and click "submit". Each participant can submit one entry per pet (dog or cat) up to a maximum of five pets.
What is the prize and how is the winner determined?
There is one major prize to be won each month, which is a VitaPet Prize Pack consisting of $100 worth of VitaPet dog treats. The total prize pool over the promotion period is $600 based on the recommended retail price (RRP). Winners are selected through a game of chance. A random number generator will provide 10 numbers to select 10 finalists, of which four entries will be featured in an Instagram story poll. The winner of the poll will be deemed the monthly winner.

How are winners notified?
The prize winners will be notified via email within 24 hours of the draw times listed. Their names will also be announced on the Promotion Website.
What happens if a winner doesn't claim the prize?
If a winner doesn't claim their prize within 48 hours of notification, their entry will be invalid, and the Promoter will redraw for another winner. This process will continue until a winner claims the prize.
What are the terms regarding personal information?
Entrants' details will be collected, used, and held for the purposes of the Promotion. Winners' names will be published on the Promotion Website and may be published in other media as required by law. Entrants may opt-in to receive marketing communications about VitaPet products and services.
What are the total prize pool amount and other terms?
The total prize pool is $600 based on the RRP of the VitaPet Prize Packs. All entries become the property of the Promoter and may not be returned. The Promoter will comply with Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988(Cth). The competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.
