The Promotion commences at 12.00 am on 15 May 2017 and closes at 11.59 pm on 9 July 2017 (“Promotion Period”). All references to times recorded throughout these Terms and Conditions are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales. The Promoters are Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (ABN 15 000 122 850, AFS Licence No. 234708) and Allianz Australia Life Insurance Limited (ABN 27 076 033 782, AFS Licence No. 296559), Level 12, 2 Market Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, telephone number 13 1000 (“Promoters”).

The Promotion commences at 12.00 am on 15 May 2017 and closes at 11.59 pm on 9 July 2017 (“Promotion Period”). All references to times recorded throughout these Terms and Conditions are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales. The Promoters are Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (ABN 15 000 122 850, AFS Licence No. 234708) and Allianz Australia Life Insurance Limited (ABN 27 076 033 782, AFS Licence No. 296559), Level 12, 2 Market Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, telephone number 13 1000 (“Promoters”).
Entry into the Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 16 years or over who obtain a valid and completed quote directly from Allianz by calling Allianz or applying online at allianz.com.au during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Prospect”). In order to be eligible for the Promotion (“Eligible Quote”), a quote must be complete, meaning a premium has been generated for the quote, for one of the following products through the following channels:
Quote via phone or online
Car insurance;
Home insurance;
Landlord insurance;
Small Business ADVANTAGE Pack and
Allianz Life Plan.
Quote via phone only
Office pack;
Trades & Services Pack;
Farm Pack:
Classic Motor Insurance(SBD);
Prestige Motor Insurance(SBD) and
Commercial Motor Insurance.
Renewals of existing policies and the purchase of new business policies do not constitute additional entries into the Promotion. Obtaining a quote or purchasing a policy through insurance intermediaries rather than directly from Allianz is not eligible for the Promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoters, and employees of agencies associated with this Promotion, are ineligible to enter the Promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
Entry into the Promotion is automatic when an Eligible Prospect completes an Eligible Quote during the Promotion Period and, at the same time as the quote is first obtained, provides valid contact details, being First Name and contact telephone number or contact email address. For the avoidance of doubt, retrieving and adding contact details to a quote which does not already have valid contact details provided does not make that quote an Eligible Quote. Each Eligible Prospect can obtain a maximum of one (1) Eligible Quote per product. After an Eligible Prospect has won a prize, any quotes obtained by that prospect in subsequent weeks will not be eligible for entering into future draws during the remainder of the Promotion Period.
The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of each entry and to disqualify any person who the Promoters have reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this Promotion. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly over the telephone or online or not provided at all may be deemed by the Promoters as an invalid entry. Failure by the Promoters to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoters’ legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
There will be eight (8) prizes awarded in this Promotion. Each prize consists of $10,000 cash to be awarded to each prize winner in the form of a cheque or via direct debit. The total value of the prizes to be awarded in this Promotion is AUD$80,000.
Entrants will be entered into the prize draw in the week during which their Entry is received after 12.00am on the relevant Opening Date and before 11.59pm on the relevant Closing Date set out below:

A draw from all entries received within a weekly draw period will be conducted at 2:30pm on the dates specified above at Level 10, 2 Market Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000. A representative of the Promoters will conduct a random draw of all entries. The prize winners will be electronically selected at random from a computer-generated listing of entries received during the Promotion Period. The first (1) valid entry drawn will win the one (1) weekly prize.
All prize winners will be published online at www.allianz.com.au/matters/weekly-prizes and notified by telephone and SMS or email of their win and the way in which they may claim their prize by:

The names of the prize winners will also be published in The Australian newspaper on Tuesday 20 June 2017 (for weekly Draws 1-4) and Tuesday 18 July 2017 (for weekly draws 5-8). The Promoters take no responsibility if the prize winners' details are incorrect or if the prize winners cannot be contacted. The prize will be awarded to the first listed insured on the quote. The prizes will be sent via registered post or any other method agreed between the prize winner and the Promoters. The Promoters take no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. The prizes are not exchangeable. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. As a condition of accepting the prize, the prize winner must confirm the name that the prize will be awarded to, or the bank details supplied (if direct debit is agreed to by the winner).
If a prize winner wishes to claim their prize, the prize winner must confirm to the Promoters that they wish to do so by 5pm on 11 October 2017 (being 3 months from the last original draw date). If a prize winner fails to claim their prize by this time, that prize winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize. In the event that a prize winner forfeits their prize or a prize remains unclaimed by 5pm on 11 October 2017, the Promoters will conduct a redraw, following the same procedure as the original draw. The redraw will take place at 11.00 am on 13 October 2017, at the same place as the original draw. The prize winner from any redraw will be notified of their win and the way in which they may claim their prize in writing and by telephone and their name will be published in The Australian newspaper by 20 October 2017. In the event that this redrawn prize winner is not eligible, the Promoters will conduct a redraw until the prize is awarded (subject to any further regulatory directions).
To the fullest extent permissible by law, each entrant in the Promotion (including the prize winners) releases the Promoters from any claim, loss, damage, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by them in connection with the prize or their participation in the Promotion. The Promoters, their related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential or economic loss) suffered or sustained by an entrant, or a prize winner in connection with this Promotion, the promotion of this Promotion, or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters exclude liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorised intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoters, injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials related to this Promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter into the draw repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
Liability for any tax (other than fringe benefits tax) arising out of participation in this Promotion (including acceptance of a prize) is the sole responsibility of the entrant. Entrants should seek independent financial advice in this regard.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoters (including its respective officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters’ control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a prize winner or an entrant; or (f) use of any prize.
Privacy Notice: Entry is conditional on providing the requested personal information. By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the retention, use and disclosure of entrants’ personal information by the Promoters in the following ways:
for the purposes of conducting the Promotion and any matter connected to the Promotion;
if the entrant is a prize winner of this Promotion, for publicity purposes in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration, compensation or prior notice to the entrant;
in addition to any use that may be outlined above, sending entrants publications and communications about events, promotions, products and services. This includes distributing marketing material for goods and services offered by the Promoters, their related bodies corporate and businesses which have arrangements with the Promoters or their related bodies corporate. Entrants agree that communications may be sent to them by post, email and/or SMS.
The Promoters may disclose personal information to third parties for the above purposes, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. For the purpose of conducting this Promotion and sending offers and information to entrants, the Promoters will not disclose the entrant’s personal information to entities outside of Australia.
