Mechanics:
The Lucky Draw (“the Draw”) will be open to all new and existing KrisFlyer members who are 18 years or above and having their residing address in Victoria, Australia, as reflected in KrisFlyer or SIA’s records.
The draw will take place from 18th October 2022, 0000hrs to 30 October 2022, 2359hrs (GMT+10). This time period shall be known as the “Competition Period”.
Entry to the competition shall be by way of an online web form accessible from the following manners:
(a) Melbourne Airport newsletter scheduled to be published on 18th October (URL link will be provided as “enter now” on the newsletter.)
The “KrisFlyer Program” is the loyalty program of SIA. To partake in the KrisFlyer Program, individuals must register to become a “KrisFlyer Member”. Each eligible KrisFlyer Member is eligible for one (1) entry into the Draw.
Each eligible participant (“the Participant”) in the Draw stands a chance to win 100,000 KrisFlyer Miles (“the Prize”) and the Prize will be deposited to the KrisFlyer account of the Participant who wins the Draw in accordance with the procedure outlined hereinbelow.
Draw Details/Additional Matters:
The Draw will be conducted by SIA on Wednesday 2 November at 1400hrs (GMT +10).
The selected winner will be notified within three (3) days of “the Draw” via the email address registered in their KrisFlyer membership profile. The selected winner will also be published on our website at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/au/plan-travel/local-promotions/melbourne/melbourne-airport-2022/ on or before 4th November 2022.
The selected winner must have satisfied the criteria outlined herein to be eligible for the Prize.
The selected winner is required to return a signed letter of acceptance via email to SIA within thirty (30) days from the date on which the notification is sent by way of email, or the date of an announcement published on the SIA Website, as stated in paragraphs 9 above, whichever earlier.
Should the selected winner fail to return a signed letter of acceptance via email to SIA within thirty (30) days as stated in paragraph 11 above, a redraw will be completed by one (1) time, on 5th December 2022 at 1400hrs (GMT +10). The announcement of the re-selected winner, notification and acceptance of the Prize will be subject to the conditions outlined herein.
Subject to paragraph 12 above, if for any reason the winner does not adhere to the acceptance terms outlined by SIA in paragraph 12 above, the Prize will be deemed forfeited and the Draw shall be deemed concluded.
Subject to paragraphs 12 and 13 above, all decisions by SIA, in respect of all matters relating to the Draw, including the choice of the winner shall be final and conclusive.
The Prize is strictly non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash in part or in full, and shall not be sold to any third party. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this Prize will result in immediate cancellation of the Prize.
The Prize is valid for a period of 36 months from the time at which it is deposited into the selected winner’s account (“Validity Period”). Upon the expiry of the Validity Period, the Prize will expire and as such will be forfeited. No extension of time in respect of the Validity Period will be permitted in whatsoever situation.
By participating in the Draw, the Participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Non-compliance with, or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions may result in the Participant being disqualified from the Draw, and the Prize won shall be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn, or reclaimed, whichever applicable.
Any collection, use and disclosure of the Participant’s personal data will be strictly in accordance with SIA’s Privacy Policy (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy). The Participants are bound by these Terms and Conditions of the Draw, SIA’s conditions of use of website and SIA’s Privacy Policy (available online at http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy). The Participant hereby acknowledges, agrees, and consents to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal data to third parties for the purpose of facilitation of the Draw.
SIA reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions, terminate or otherwise amend the manner this Draw is conducted at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice.
Employees of SIA and Scoot Tigerair Pte Ltd (a wholly subsidiary of SIA), their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, related agencies, principal sponsors, and suppliers associated with this campaign are not eligible to participate in the Draw. Corporations and other artificial persons are not eligible to participate in the Draw.
SIA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the Participant. The demise of a Participant automatically disqualifies his/her eligibility for the Draw.
The Participant is advised to obtain independent legal advice at their own expense before participating in the Draw. SIA will not be responsible for any consequences that any Participant may suffer (including but not limited to any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment), or that results in an infringement of intellectual property right, law or regulation, by entering the Draw or accepting the Prize.
Participants are bound by Terms and Conditions herein, or any variation, modification, or insertion thereof, and where applicable, Singapore Airlines’ conditions of use of website, and conditions of carriage (available online at www.singaporeair.com), as well as terms and conditions and policies of KrisFlyer and Scoot (available online at www.singaporeair.com).
The selected winner is responsible for the taxes and fees associated with the redemption of the Prize in whichever manner they elect to use the Prize pursuant to the terms and conditions of the KrisFlyer Program. Any cost associated with entering the promotion is the sole responsibility of the Participant.
