- These rules, terms and conditions (“Rules”) apply to the Competition featured by 2XU. The Competition is being promoted by 2XU (the “Promotor”). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules. The Promotor reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without prior notice. - Entry Period Australi The entry period (“Entry Period”) for the Competition starts on June 27, 2017 at 10am AEST (“Start Date”) and ends on July 8, 2017 at 8:00pm AEST (“End Date”).
- Main Method of Entry: An entry (“Entry” or “Entries”) shall be submitted on behalf of a team of two individuals. The first team member (the “Initial Entrant”) shall complete all mandatory fields of the entry form and submit it online during the Entry Period. Entry forms can be submitted online via the Internet to the 2XU website on the Competition’ web page located at comp.2xu.com. Upon successful submission of the Initial Entrant’s entry form, they will receive a unique link to a URL that must be sent to their desired team member in the Competition (“Invited Friend”). The Invited Friend must fully complete all mandatory fields of the entry form and submit as instructed during the Entry Period. The Entry for each team shall not be completed until successful submission of the Invited Friend’s entry form. The Invited Friend will receive a unique link to another URL giving them the opportunity to become an Initial Entrant by sending a friend the invitation to team up with them in the Competition.
- Alternative Method of Entry: Individuals who prefer not to submit entry forms online and/or do not want to be placed on 2XU marketing distribution list may enter by sending a completed entry form for both team members, by first or second class post, to the following address: 2XU Sweepstake, c/o 2XU, 243 Burwood Road, Hawthorn VIC 3122 Australia. Both team members’ completed entry forms must be postmarked during the Entry Period, and shall indicate the identity of the other team member. Any mailed entry form will not be deemed incomplete if it does not contain an email address so long as all other required fields are complete and a phone number is set forth so that 2XU can contact the individual if that team wins. Individuals using this alternative method of entry shall not be placed on 2XU distribution list, but may be contacted through email for purposes of notifying such individual if he or she wins the Competition.
- There is no purchase requirement to enter the Competition. Purchases from the Promotors do not improve the chances of winning. There is no charge to register with the 2XU website if entrants enter the Competition online. Entrants are responsible for the cost of their connection to the Competition web page via the internet. 2XU does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Competition web page or website.
- The Initial Entrant and his/her Invited Friend will only be allowed to team up together once. No individual may be an Initial Entrant for more than one team Entry, and no individual may be an Invited Friend for more than one team Entry. Any attempt or suspected attempt to circumvent these limitations by using multiple email addresses or pen names, or any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or any entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will void all of the Entries for such entrants. All Entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, contain an erroneous phone and/or email address or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the Rules may be disqualified by 2XU.
- As a condition of entry, all entrants must agree to the Ts&Cs and opt in to receive email promotions/marketing material from 2XU in order to go into the draw to win two $1000 gift cards.
- Whether you are the Initial Entrant or the Invited Friend, by entering the Competition you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. 2XU reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Initial Entrants and Invited Friends. The contact details you provide with your Entry may be used to send any prizes so you need to make sure it is correct. 2XU does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged, invalid or illegible Entries.
- This Competition may be promoted through third party websites, like Facebook. Entrants must at all times comply with the terms of service for those third party websites when using them to participate in this Competition. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, those third party websites.
- Eligibility: The Competition is open only to legal residents of Australia, who are at least 18 years of age. For sake of clarity, both the Initial Entrant and the Invited Friend must satisfy these requirements. Employees of 2XU, and all of their agents, contractors and their family members, or any third party related to the administration of the Competition, are not eligible to enter the Competition. This Competition is void where prohibited.
- Winners Selection: The winning Entry (“Winners”) will be selected seven (7) days after the End Date to provide sufficient time for receipt of mail-in entry forms. The Winners will be selected randomly from all Entries received in accordance with the Rules. All team Entries will be listed and numbered on a spreadsheet, including mail-in Entries, and a random number will be generated through an independent computer program, using a blind procedure, which will reveal the winning team Entry. There will be only one team of Winners of the Prize (i.e. one Initial Entrant and his or her Invited Friend). The Winners will be contacted by 2XU by email within two (2) weeks from the End Date of the Competition and at least one of the Winners must confirm acceptance of the Prize (as defined below) within seven (7) days of notification. If 2XU is unable to contact at least one of the Winners or if neither of the Winners are able to confirm their acceptance of the Prize within the allotted time period, 2XU reserves the right to select another team of Winners drawn using the same selection procedure. 2XUshall have no liability to previously selected Winners who have not responded in time. 2XU reserves the right to ask the Winners to provide proof of age and/or state of residence. Winners may be announced on the 2XU website for at least thirty (30) days’ after the Prize has been awarded and as such, 2XU will have the right (without additional permission being required) to use the Winners’ names, age and town/city for that purpose and they may be requested by 2XU to participate in post-event publicity both in paper and online. Winners agree to provide any information required by 2XU to fulfill the Prize as per applicable laws. In addition, the Winners may be asked to complete a general release and an affidavit of eligibility.
- Prize. There are 2 x $1000 Gift cards (online use only) in AU, US, CA, NZ or 2 x £500 Gift Cards (online use only) if winner is from the UK. ONLY 1 prize draw globally. The Prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for the Prize. In the unlikely event that the Prize should become unavailable or unredeemable, 2XU reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize which it reasonably determines as being of equal value.
- Total prize pool value is $2000.
- Use of your Personal Information. Your personal information will only be used in accordance with the Lead Online2XU Privacy Policy. You can opt-out of receiving additional messages in the future by following the instructions to unsubscribe indicated in the e-mails. You understand that all Entries submitted to 2XU automatically become the property of 2XU.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Australia and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
