How can one enter?
To enter, during the Online Registration Period (from 23 Oct 2023 at 05:30 AEST to 02 Nov 2023 at 09:00 AEST), you must:
1. Visit the win page on the Website, register your details, and answer in 25 words or less the question specified by the Promoter.
2. On 02 Nov 2023 (Contesting Day), the Promoter will judge entries based on creativity, literary merit, originality, suitability, entertainment value, or as otherwise specified.
3. The winner will be notified by phone, and on 03 Nov 2023, the Promoter will broadcast the notification of the winner to air.
What is the prize won?
The prize is a major prize comprising of $5,000 worth of Choice Hotels vouchers (25 x $200 vouchers) and $5,000 cash, for a total prize pool of up to $10,000.
What is the total worth of the prize?
The total worth of the prize pool is up to $10,000.
Are there any prize restrictions?
Prizes are not redeemable for cash unless it's a cash prize. Prizes are also not transferable.
When and how will the winners be notified?
Winners will be notified by phone at the time of/immediately after winning.
When must the prize be claimed?
The prize must be claimed by 31 Jan 2024 at 23:59 AEST. If not claimed by this date and time, the winner forfeits the prize.
What happens if the prize is not claimed?
If the prize is not claimed or if an entry is deemed invalid, the Promoter will award the relevant prize to another valid entrant in accordance with the method outlined in the Entry Procedure/Judging Details or to another valid entrant who subsequently enters this Promotion or another Promotion conducted by the Promoter.
Additional terms:
If the winner does not use the full value of one of the $200 vouchers, the hotel where the voucher is being redeemed has the option to either pay the balance in cash or allocate it as credit for a future stay. Gift vouchers have specific conditions of use, including being valid for 12 months from the date of issue and not being redeemable for cash or transferable.
