Certegy Ezi-Pay's "Huge Cash Giveaway!" 2017 Terms & Conditions
Competition Period
The Certegy Ezi-Pay Pty Ltd "Huge Cash Giveaway!" competition commences on:
1st July 2017 in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory. Residents of the Australian Capital Territory are not eligible for entry in the "Huge Cash Giveaway!"
The Competition Period ends on 31st August 2017 at 7:30pm ACST.
Eligibility & Participation
Participation in the "Huge Cash Giveaway!" is limited to people who:
are Australian residents aged 18 years or over;
acknowledge that Certegy Ezi-Pay's Privacy Policy available at www.certegyezipay.com.au/PrivacyPolicy applies to personal information provided to Certegy Ezi-Pay;
entered the Minor Prize Draw using Certegy Ezi-Pay's website (Minor Prize Draw Entrant);
entered the Major Prize Draw by applying for & being approved for a Certegy Ezi-Pay Express payment plan through a participating retailer during the Competition Period (Major Prize Draw Entrant);
provided a valid entry into the Minor Prize Draw or the Major Prize Draw (or both) which was received by Certegy Ezi-Pay by 5:00pm ACST on the 21st September 2017; and
are not excluded from participation in the "Huge Cash Giveaway!" (Eligible Entrants).
Major Prize Draw
There is one prize in the Major Prize Draw. The Major Prize Draw winner will be randomly drawn from all Major Prize Draw Eligible Entrants received during the Competition Period. An Eligible Entrant in the Major Prize Draw will have one entry in the Major Prize Draw for each eligible Certegy Ezi-Pay Express payment plan they agree to within the Competition Period subject to the conditions set out above.
The winner drawn of the Major Prize Draw will win $15,000 Cash.
Minor Prize Draw
The prizes in the Minor Prize Draw are:

The Minor Prize Draw winners will be randomly drawn from all Minor Prize Draw Eligible Entrant entries received during the Competition Period. There is only one entry per person in the Minor Prize Draw. Each of the winners of the Minor Prize Draw will receive only one Pre-Paid Visa Card.
Major and Minor Prize Draw details
The Major and Minor Prize Draws will be held by the promoter Certegy Ezi-Pay Pty Ltd ABN 28 129 228 986 Ph 08 8232 2828 at 12:00pm ACST on 28th September 2017 at Certegy Ezi-Pay, Level 6, 97 Pirie Street, Adelaide SA 5000.
The winners will be notified via telephone on 28th September 2017 by 5:00pm ACST, followed by letter and the winner details will be published on www.certegyezipay.com.au from 29th September 2017 for a period of 28 days. Certegy Ezi-Pay may require entrants to provide proof of identification matching their entry to redeem their prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at Certegy Ezi-Pay's discretion. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, Certegy Ezi-Pay has the right, in its sole discretion to determine the identity of the entrant.
Certegy Ezi-Pay will retain any unclaimed prize from this competition for the period of 3 months after the draw. If a prize in the Major or Minor Prize Draws has not been accepted or claimed within 3 months of the draw, the winning entry will be deemed invalid and a redraw will occur. If required a redraw of the Major and/or Minor Prize Draws will be conducted in the manner specified for the relevant original draw and will be held by the promoter Certegy Ezi-Pay Pty Ltd ABN 28 129 228 986 Ph 08 8232 2828 at 12:00pm ACST on the 27th December 2017 at Certegy Ezi-Pay, Level 6, 97 Pirie Street, Adelaide SA 5000. The winner(s) of a redraw will be notified via telephone on on 27th December 2017 by 5:00pm ACST , followed by letter and the redraw winner details will be published on www.certegyezipay.com.au from 28th December 2017 for a period of 28 days.
Other terms and conditions
This competition is not a game of skill. The total prize pool is valued at $20,000 AUD (Inc GST). All dollar values referred to in these terms and conditions are in Australian Dollars (“AUD”). Except as expressly provided in these terms and conditions, no prize, entry or other feature of the competition can be transferred or redeemed for cash or other goods and services. A person can enter both the Major and Minor Prize Draws but can only enter the Minor Prize Draw once.
To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, Certegy Ezi-Pay reserves the right to make a decision regarding those circumstances which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions.
If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of running as anticipated due to any reason beyond Certegy Ezi-Pay’s reasonable control, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, Certegy Ezi-Pay may in its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law:
disqualify any entrant; and
subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
Certegy Ezi-Pay is not responsible for any:
(a) loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage by an entrant):
(i) in relation to entering or participating in the competition or taking or using the prizes offered (except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by Certegy Ezi-Pay or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of Certegy Ezi-Pay); or
(ii) caused by any technical or mechanical malfunction outside Certegy Ezi-Pay's reasonable control;
(b) variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; and
(c) tax liability incurred by an entrant.
Entrants consent to Certegy Ezi-Pay using their name, likeness, image and voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and recording of the same) in any media, including social media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products offered, distributed or supplied by Certegy Ezi-Pay or any other entity with which Certegy Ezi-Pay has a contractual relationship with.
As a condition of claiming a prize, a winner must sign any legal document in any form reasonably required by Certegy Ezi-Pay.
South Australian law governs the competition.
Entrants will be deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions and will be bound by them once their entry is registered for the competition. Promotional Permit Number NSW LTPS/17/14905 & SA T17/1044.

Eligibility Exclusions
This competition is not open to directors, management or employees or their immediate family of participating stores or Certegy Ezi-Pay Pty Ltd.
This competition is not open to any resident of the Australian Capital Territory.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be excluded.
The use of any automated entry software or any other means that allows an entrant to automatically enter is prohibited and all entries submitted by that entrant will be excluded.
