Clause 3
General Rules:
(a) Prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period, the Promoter will pre-record an audio
clip containing a predetermined sentence. A nominated word will be concealed within the
sentence and entrants will be invited to correctly identify the mystery word (as determined by
the Promoter, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) (Mystery Word) which is required
to be identified on air (On Air Game).
(b) Entrants will be invited to guess the Mystery Word during the On Air Game, as outlined below.
(c) At various times during the Promotion Period, the Promoter may, in its sole and absolute
discretion, publish hints and clues regarding the Mystery Word including on air, on the Station
Website, the Station Facebook page, the Station Twitter account and/or the Station
Instagram account (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion) to help
listeners identify the Mystery Word, however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so. The
Promoter may list previous incorrect guesses on the Station Website (in the Promoter’s sole
and absolute discretion), however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so. The Promoter
may also provide and publish clues to third party sponsors/providers (as determined by the
Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion) via help listeners identify the Mystery Word,
however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so.
(d) For the avoidance of doubt, incorrect guesses, hints and clues provided may indicate a
broad category of word, however the correct Mystery Word will involve a specific word (as
determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion).
(e) Entrants must correctly identify the Mystery Word (as determined by the Promoter in its sole
and absolute discretion) to be deemed the Prize winner.
(f) The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, request that an entrant provide more information
with respect to their Mystery Word guess. The Promoter is under no obligation to make such a
request.
(g) The Major Prize winner will be determined by the Promoter when the Mystery Word is correctly
identified. For the avoidance of doubt, that is when sufficient information is provided by the
entrant for the Promoter to deem the Mystery Word as having being correctly identified (as
determined by the Promoter in the Promoter’s absolute and sole discretion). The Promoter’s
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Phone entry:
At various times during the Promotion Period:
(a) On-air announcers will invite entrants to call 13 59 50 during a specified time period (as
determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion), for the opportunity to play the On
Air Game;
(b) From the entrants who successfully call 13 59 50, up to one (1) entrant will be randomly selected by
the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) (each, a Selected Entrant) and will
be invited to participate in the On Air Game in the relevant contesting spot.
Mystery Word On Air Game:
(c) In each contesting spot, Selected Entrants will, on-air, be invited to listen to the Mystery Word
audio, and then identify the missing word from the Mystery Word audio, (as determined by the
Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). The Mystery Word audio may feature one (1) or more
missing words, (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). For the
avoidance of doubt, entrants must name a different word for each missing word in the Mystery
Word audio. The same word cannot be repeated for more than one (1) word/s in the audio.
(d) The first Selected Entrant to correctly identify all the missing word/s in the Mystery Word audio in
the correct order (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) will be
deemed the Prize winner and be awarded the Prize.
(e) If the Selected Entrant does not correctly identify the current Mystery Word (as determined by the
Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Selected Entrant will not be awarded the Prize.
(f) The Promoter will continue the above process until a Selected Entrant is awarded the Prize, or the
Promotion Period ends (whichever comes first).
(g) For the avoidance of doubt, at various times during the Promotion Period, the Promoter may (in its sole
and absolute discretion) give clues and hints as to the Mystery Word on air and/or online, however the
Promoter is under no obligation to do so. The Promoter’s decision as to the operation and outcome of
each On Air Game contesting spot and the Promotion generally are at the Promoter’s sole and
absolute discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. If a Selected Entrant is deemed a
winner, they will be asked by a representative of the Promoter (off air) to provide their contact details
(including their nominated valid Australian bank account) for the purposes of awarding the Prize.
10. Entry Restrictions Guesses must be made on air
Entrants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry Method. Guesses submitted in any
other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion.
Replacing Phone-In and On-Air Entrants
If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear
on air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion)
may replace that entrant by contacting another entrant and inviting them to appear on air or
participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process
until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on air or
participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable).
Calling in and speaking to Promoter
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not
mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner (where applicable) and they may not be
invited to appear on air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a Prize
(where applicable).
Entrant must appear on-air
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a
winner and awarded a Prize.
