Who can enter the competition?The competition is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older, a resident of Australia or New Zealand, and meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the terms and conditions. Immediate family members of Disney employees are not eligible to enter.
When does the competition close?The competition opens on 9 March 2025 at 09:00 am AEDT and closes on 16 March 2025 at 11:59 pm AEDT.
How can one enter the competition?Eligible entrants must follow the @StarWarsAUNZ Instagram account, visit the competition page at https://signup.disney.com.au/star-wars-celebration-competition, and provide their contact details including first name, last name, postcode, phone number, Instagram handle, and email address. Only one entry per person is allowed.
What are the prizes to be won?There are three prizes available, each consisting of a seven-day trip for the winner and one guest aged 12 years or older to Tokyo, Japan for the Star Wars Celebration event from 18-20 April 2025. The prize includes:
- Two 3-day general admission tickets to Star Wars Celebration valued at up to AUD $500.
- Return economy class airfare for the group from the nearest major international airport to the winner’s residence to either Haneda or Narita Airport, Japan, valued at up to AUD $8,000.
- Six nights of 4-star hotel accommodation for the group sharing one room with breakfast, valued at a maximum of AUD $4,140.
- Return ground transfers between the Arrival Airport and the Accommodation, valued at up to AUD $850.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total maximum prize pool is valued at AUD $40,470, inclusive of GST. The prize excludes any domestic flights within the winner’s country of residence, baggage fees, insurance, food or beverages, and various other expenses.
When will winners be selected?Winners will be selected on 17 March 2025 at 2:00 pm AEDT.
How will winners be notified?Winners will be notified by phone and email on or around 18 March 2025 and will be contacted no later than 19 March 2025.
What is the deadline to claim the prize?Winners must claim their prize by 11:59 pm AEDT on 1 April 2025.
What happens if a prize is unclaimed?If a prize is not claimed by the deadline, an unclaimed prize draw will take place on 2 April 2025, and the new winner will be notified in writing within 7 days. If the prize remains unclaimed, Disney will forfeit it without offering a substitute.
