(“Competition”)
The promoter of the Competition is AFL Players’ Association Inc (ABN 25695729819)(Association Reg A0025229Z) Level 2, 170 Bridport Street, Albert Park 3206(“Promoter”).
Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Byentering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. ThePromoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails tocomply with these Terms and Conditions. All relevant instructions on the Promoter’swebsite (if any) form part of these Terms and Conditions
There can be only one winner of the Competition.
Entry into the Competition is free.
The Competition opens at 9:00am (AEDT) on 9 April 2018 and closes at 5:00pm(AEST) on 25 May 2018 (“Competition Period”). Any entry received after the expiryoftheCompetitionPeriodwillbedeemedinvalid. Noresponsibilityisacceptedforlate,lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
Entry is only open to "Eligible Entrants". An Eligible Entrant is an individual who is anAustralian resident, other than a resident in the state of New South Wales, at time ofentry and has a valid email address, excluding:
i) Any employee or director of an employee or director of the Promoter or any of itsrelated agencies or companies; or
ii) Any spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling of an excluded employee ordirector.
Entries will be deemed made by natural person named in the entry and, if there is adispute, the authorized holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry andsuch individual must comply with these Terms and Conditions. The authorized accountholder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by the Internetaccess provider or the domain associated with the submitted e- mail address.
To enter, you must log onto the AFL Players’ Association website:www.aflplayers.com.au and follow the directions provided. Entrants must submit theirname, email address, their ‘Hard Nut’ nomination and why, and AFL team supportedin and any other information required in the entry fields to enter the Competition.
An Eligible Entrant may enter the Competition once.
Use of any device to automate entry or any other activity which subverts the entryprocess is prohibited and all such entries will be deemed void. The Promoter may notverify receipt of entries. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter andwill not be returned.
The winner will be determined by the Promoter from all eligible entries received. Thewinner will be determined by lot drawn from all eligible entries received by the Promoterin accordance with these terms and conditions. The winner will be drawn at 170Bridport Street, Level 2, Albert Park, Victoria, 3206, at 3.00pm on the day after the end of the Competition.
The winner will be announced on the AFL Players’ Association website
(www.aflplayers.com.au) and through the AFL Players’ social media accounts.
The major prize is a $1,000 Flight Centre Voucher and a $500 donation to a localsporting club of the winner’s choice. There will also be six Runner’s Up prizes of a 5kgbox of Australian almonds. If the prize becomes unavailable, the AFL Players’Association may substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, is non-transferable, and no substitutions areallowed except by Promoter who reserves the right to award a prize of comparable orgreater value, at its sole discretion.
The winner will be notified within seven (7) days of the draw and will be required toprovide a postal address for delivery of the prize. If the winner does not collect theprize or provide a postal address for delivery of the prize within a time set by thePromoter then the prize will be forfeited.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs in addition to the prize. The Promotershall not be liable for any loss or damage to the prize after the time at which the prizeis posted to the winner.
By submitting an entry to the Promoter, you specifically grant to the Promoter the non-exclusive right to communicate your entry and all other materials provided by you inwhole or in part (your “Work”) to the public throughout the world on any media platformand you grant to the Promoter all associated rights necessary to exercise the aboverights.
You acknowledge that the Promoter is under no obligation to exercise any of the rightsgranted to it by these Terms and Conditions and any communication of your Work tothe public by the Promoter is at the complete discretion of the Promoter.
You agree that the Promoter may use your entry and any personal details provided tothe Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter inany media without notice and without any fee being paid to you.
If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter’s conduct of the Competitionor the Promoter’s ability to deliver the prize to the prize winner of the Competition, thePromoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at anothertime under the same conditions or select another winner.
The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for anyof the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or forany technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of thisCompetition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission,interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications linefailure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any injury,damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to personsor property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting orusing any prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any prize or damage to anyprize in transit.

iv) you will indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from anybreach of these warranties.
