The Prize is an eleven (11) night cruise on the Hurtigruten ‘Bergen – Kirkenes – Bergen, The Classic Roundtrip Voyage’ for two (2) people departing Bergen between December 2021 – January 2022, including accommodation in a twin-share ‘Polar Outside Cabin’; all meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at the main restaurant) and selected non-alcoholic beverages during meal times. The Prize is valued from AU$7,586 per cabin (AU$3,793 per person twin share) as at 6th January 2021. Cabin Grade – J2 or L2. The ‘from’ price may be subject to fluctuation as Hurtigruten has a flexible pricing system and all prices are capacity controlled and subject to availability.

No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated
The Prize must be taken as offered, is subject to availability and is non-refundable, non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash or any other goods or services. The prize cannot be resold. The Prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accept the conditions of use of the Prize
The Prize excludes purchases on board the ship (e.g. including but not limited to beverages, spa, shopping), meals off the ship, optional tours, travel insurance, tips and gratuities, spending money, transport from Winner’s home to and from departure airport or port, visas, passports and vaccinations
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification
The trip may be supplemented with upgrades and additional arrangements outside of the itinerary, at the winner’s own expense
If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. The Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion
The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, including but not limited to any breach of these terms and conditions, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties:
a) for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business. To remove doubt: third party goods or services, which other than in connection with this promotion, are in the normal course of business supplied by a third party unrelated to the Promotion Parties, are not supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business; and the Promoter’s Conditions of Carriage and general booking conditions (and any exclusions contained therein) apply despite any statement to the contrary in these terms and conditions; or
b) to the extent it is not permissible at law to limit or exclude liability in the manner contemplated in that clause (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).

Receipt of a prize may have Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) implications. To the extent that there is any FBT liability, this will be paid for by the employer of the recipient. The grossed-up value of a prize and any other Fringe Benefits the recipient receives during the course of the FBT year may be reported on the recipient’s annual PAYG Payment Summary as required by taxation law

Outlined here is the information that pertains to general entries into all Signature Media competitions. They cover promotions via all affiliated publications including Signature Luxury Travel & Style, Holidays with Kids, Vacations & Travel and LATTE Luxury News. Participation in any promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
For entries to be considered they must be received by the set due date outlined by the competition promotion. All requirements, such as completing a survey or submitting an answer, must be completed in order for entries to be valid.
Employees (and their immediate families) of Signature Media and its associated agencies with any promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Only one entry per person will be permitted. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Signature Media reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at Signature Media’s discretion. Failure by Signature Media to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Any additional costs associated with redeeming a prize are not included.
All prizes must be taken as offered. Prizes, or any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash unless otherwise specified. Prizes are valued in Australian dollars. Signature Media accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize.
Prizes that encompass an external company component (such as a hotel, airline or cruise company), must work within the parameters of the external company. Prizes are subject to black-out periods and availability. Changes to bookings may arise at the discretion of these external companies, and Signature Media is not responsible for any changes to flight times, flight dates, booking changes, room availabilities and other booking inclusions that are beyond its control.
Signature Media is not responsible for passport or travel requirements when leaving the country.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
In the event that a prize, or part of a prize, is unavailable, Signature Media reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize.
Signature is neither responsible nor liable for any late, lost or misdirected mail (including but not limited to prizes).
Signature Media is neither responsible nor liable for any prize damaged in transit during its delivery.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Signature Media (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Signature Media’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Signature Media (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
If a promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control, Signature Media reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
