What is the prize offered in the Brisbane Economic Development Agency - Visit Brisbane Competition?There are two prizes available to be won. Each prize consists of a unique "Visit Brisbane" package, as described in (a) and (b) below.
Prize Package (a):
- $1000.00 Qantas Flight Voucher (valid until 28 June 2025)
- Accommodation for two people, two nights at the Westin King Room in Brisbane (valid until 30 December 2023)
- $250.00 City Winery gift certificate (valid until 29 June 2025)
- Elite Helicopter voucher for a Heli Beach Picnic for two people at North Stradbroke Island (valid until 31 December 2023)
The total value of Prize Package (a) is approximately $3,440.00.
Prize Package (b):
- $1000.00 Qantas Flight Voucher (valid until 28 June 2025)
- $500.00 voucher to use at Hotel X towards accommodation and incidentals (valid until 30 June 2025)
- Brisbane Artisan Food and Drink Tour with Kiff and Culture for two people (valid until 29 February 2024)
- $250.00 voucher for Hyatt Regency to be used at Lennons Restaurant or Hibiscus Room (valid until 19 May 2026)
The total value of Prize Package (b) is approximately $2,350.00.
When is the competition period for entering?The competition opens at midday AEST on 31 May 2023 and closes at 11.50pm AEST on 14 June 2023.
How can participants enter the competition?Participants must fully complete and submit the online entry form found at visit.brisbane.qld.au/competitions. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
Who is eligible to enter the competition?To be eligible, a person must be a resident of Australia and not be an employee or contracted staff of Brisbane City Council.
How will the winners be chosen and notified?The winners will be the first two eligible entries randomly drawn by an officer of the Promoter. The winners will be notified via phone or email by 5pm AEST on 14 June 2023.
How can the winners claim their prize?The winners must claim the prize by contacting the Promoter by phone or email, as notified by the Promoter, by 10.00am AEST on 16 June 2023. If a prize is not claimed by the specified date, a new winner will be drawn.
How will the prizes be redeemed?Once a prize winner has claimed the prize and provided an email address, the prize will be sent out to the winner by email.
Is there any liability or responsibility of the Promoter?The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, misplaced, lost, or ineligible entries. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from the competition or acceptance of the prize, except as required by Australian consumer protection laws. The Promoter's liability is limited to the resupply of the prize.
What is the Privacy consent for entering the competition?By entering the competition, the entrant acknowledges and consents to their personal information being collected and stored by the Promoter for the purpose of the competition.
