WHO CAN ENTER?

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The promotion commences at 12:01am (AEDST) on 27 October 2015 and closes at 23:59pm (AEDST) on 24 December 2015 (“Promotional Period”). The draw will commence at 11:00am (AEDST) 22 January 2016 at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 5, Erina Plaza, 210 Central Coast Highway, Erina NSW 2250. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing within two working days of the draw and their name will be published at www.shop.australiangeographic.com.au from 5 February 2016.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, individuals must complete one (1) of the following entry methods during the Promotional Period: a) In Store Entry: Complete the official entry form found in store with all of the required details (including but not limited to their full name, telephone number, postcode and a valid email address), include a vote for their favourite Whitsunday’s image out of the options provided; and then place the fully completed entry form in the entry box provided in store; OR
b) Online Entry: Log on to shop.australiangeographic.com.au follow the prompts to the Australian Geographic online store, locate the entry form, fill in the entry form including their full name, address, current email address, postcode and daytime telephone number, include a vote for their favourite Whitsunday’s image out of the options provided; and submit the completed online entry form as instructed.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.
PRIZE:
The first valid entry drawn from all valid entries received will win a trip for four (4) persons (can be comprised of two (2) adults and two (2) children or four (4) adults) to The Whitsundays, Queensland valued at a maximum of AU$21,942 depending on date and point of departure. Prize includes:
• Four (4) x return economy airfares for four (4) persons from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Proserpine, Whitsunday Coast Airport, QLD (flight associated taxes are included); valued at up to RRP $8,000.00 dependant on point of departure;
• Return Airport to hotel Transfers valued at up to $80.00 to Airlie Beach;
• Two (2) x nights’ accommodation at the Peppers Airlie Beach for four (4) persons, including breakfast, in a standard room; valued at up to RRP $1000.00;
• Two (2) x nights accommodation at the Coral Sea Resort for four (4) persons, including breakfast, in a standard room; valued at up to RRP $1640.00;

• Accommodation room type: should the winner elect for Two (2) adults/two (2) children to attend, accommodation will be 1 x family room with the appropriate bed configuration. Should the winner elect for Four (4) adults to attend, the accommodation will be for a maximum of 2 hotel rooms with bed configuration as per winners request and availability
• One (1) day/ one (1) night x Sailing Adventure for four (4) persons valued at up to RRP $3550.00;
• One (1) x Air Whitsundays Panorama Tour adventure for four (4) persons valued at up to RRP $2260.00;

• Two (2) x Cruise Whitsundays Transfers for four (4) persons valued at up to RRP $356.00;
For all activities noted in the prize, children under the age of 15 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or other legally responsible adult. There is no minimum age but whether children can swim with wildlife depends on their ability and the conditions at the time. The operator reserves the right to refuse a child swimming if he / she deems it to be unsafe.
Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. The prize must be booked and non-changeable by September 01, 2016 with all travel completed by December 10, 2016. Redemption of prize is subject to booking and availability at time of booking and black out periods may apply. Prize is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations. Prize is not available during Christmas, Australian school holidays, Easter and public holidays. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances, however any travel insurance will be the responsibility of the winner and his/her companions.
