When does it close?The competition starts at 6:00 am AEDT on 1 January 2025 and closes at 6:00 am AEDT on 14 February 2025.
How can you enter?Entrants can enter through one of the following methods:
1. SMS Entry: Participate in an on-air segment on Nova stations during weekdays between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm AEDT (1 January 2025 – 24 January 2025) and between 6:00 am and 2:00 pm AEDT (27 January 2025 – 13 February 2025). Entrants will receive a text message to confirm details and answer the question:
"What do you want to win and why – the cash or the car?"Entries are invalid if SMS responses are not received.
2. Website Entry: Visit [Nova’s competition page](https://novafm.com.au) for your city, complete the entry form, and answer the same question. You must listen to a Nova radio or podcast episode and opt into marketing promotions to validate your entry.
3. Nova Player App Entry: Download the Nova Player App, register your details, complete the entry form under the ‘win’ tab, and answer the question. Listening to a Nova broadcast or podcast is required for validation.
Each entrant may submit one entry per day during the promotion.
What are the prizes?The winner can choose between:
- AUD $25,000 cash- A 2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX valued at $50,552.25 (includes registration, on-road costs, and CTP insurance).
How will the winner be chosen?This is a game of skill, and entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, and suitability.
Standby List:
- Five entries deemed the ‘best’ by the promoter will be placed on a standby list at various times during the competition period.
- On 14 February 2025 (1:00 pm to 2:00 pm AEDT), one entrant from the standby list will be contacted to appear live on air.
On-Air Requirements:
The selected entrant must answer the phone live on-air within five rings to win. If the call is missed or the line drops, the next best entrant on the standby list will be contacted.
When will the winner be notified?The winner will be announced live on-air by 2:00 pm AEDT on 14 February 2025 and notified via telephone.
What is the total prize pool value?The total prize pool is valued at $50,552.25 AUD.
Additional details:- Cash prize will be transferred electronically to the winner’s nominated Australian bank account.
- Car prize must be collected within four weeks from the nearest Kia dealer. The winner must ensure eligibility to register the car in their name.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash (except for the cash prize).
