WHO CAN ENTER?

An “Eligible Entrant” for the purpose of participating in this competition is a resident of Australia who is one of the first 31,500 registered entrants. Either an individual or a family may enter. If the individual is under 15 years of age, the Eligible Entrant must be either the parent or guardian of that individual. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
Registration is open from 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Thursday 28th May 2015 and close at 11:59pm on 21st June 2015, or until the 31,500 samples are claimed, whichever comes first. The actual competition starts at 12.00am AEST on Monday 29th June 2015 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on Sunday 30th August 2015, being a total of 9 weeks (“Competition Period”).
HOW TO ENTER:
To participate in the competition follow these steps:
a. Register – to get your free oat seeds and free UNCLE TOBYS Oat Sachet sample, register your participation by completing the registration form at www.uncletobys.com.au/homegrownoats including your full name, address, email and if you are entering as a family, the names of your family members including the number of children in your family and their ages. These details will only be used for the purposes for this competition.
Upload – during the Competition Period, upload a photo or video showing the growth progress of the oat seeds, tagged with the hashtag #homegrownoats, to your preferred social media channel from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. For Facebook, post to the UNCLE TOBYS Facebook page at www.facebook.com/uncletobys and include the hashtag #homegrownoats. For Twitter or Instagram, post as normal and include the hashtag #homegrownoats.
b. Continue – to upload photos or videos throughout the Competition Period showing the progress of the seeds tagged with #homegrownoats (there is no limit to the number of photos/videos you may upload).
There is a limit of one registered entry per household and 31,500 registered entries in total. Accordingly, only the first 31,500 valid registrations will be accepted as entrants.
A minimum of 1 photo or video must be uploaded to either the Uncle Tobys Facebook page, Instagram or Twitter and tagged with #homegrownoats in any week of the Competition Period to qualify for the minor prize for that week.
PRIZES:
The prizes are as follows:
a) The major prize is a holiday valued at $5,000. The major prize will be awarded by providing pre-paid Flight Centre Travel Group Gift Cards totalling $5,000. The gift cards will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases, but will not be refunded or credited when the gift card expires. b) The minor prize is a hamper of UNCLE TOBYS products. The minor prize is valued at approximately $150 recommended retail price (“RRP”). There are a total of 45 minor prizes to be awarded (with 5 minor prizes being awarded each week during the Competition Period).
