The entrant is responsible for ensuring his or her familiarity with the Conditions of Entry at the time of participation. The Promoter’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction (whether communicated to an entrant or not) does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Conditions of Entry generally.
All entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Conditions of Entry even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has awarded a prize to the ineligible person. Return of the prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter may be required by the Promoter if this occurs.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of these Conditions of Entry and the Promotion is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter is INTEL AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (ABN 59 001 798 214) of 111 Pacific Highway, North Sydney, NSW 2060 (Promoter).
Outlets participating in the Promotion are all JB Hi Fi bannered stores including the online store - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/ (Participating Outlets).
PURCHASE PERIOD
Purchases for the Promotion must be made between 01/06/2016 and 30/06/2016 inclusive (Purchase Period).
ENTRY PERIOD
Entries in the Promotion must be submitted between 00:01 AEST on 01/06/2016 and 23:59 AEST on 07/07/2016 (Entry Period).
WHO CAN ENTER
Entry in the Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older, excluding:
(a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related entities, the Participating Outlets and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of the prizes);
(b) a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 10(a) of these Conditions of Entry;
(c) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter,
(Eligible Entrants). The persons referred to in paragraph 10(b) of these Conditions of Entry includes natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an Eligible Entrant in its absolute discretion.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must:
(a) purchase any Windows device with Intel inside for a purchase price of over $1,000 (including GST) (Eligible Product) from a Participating Outlet during the Purchase Period (Qualifying Purchase); and
(b) during the Entry Period, visit www.inteltravelpromotion.com.au and follow the links to the Promotion entry page (Online Entry Site); and
(c) fully complete and submit the online Promotion entry on the Online Entry Site (Online Entry Form), including:
i. all personal details required on the Online Entry Form, including their first name, last name, residential address, contact phone number and email address;
i. the serial number of the Eligible Product purchased;
ii. the store where they purchased the Eligible Product;
iii. the name of the sales representative who sold the Eligible Product;
iv. the receipt number from their Qualifying Purchase (Purchase Receipt);
v. uploading a scan or photograph of their Purchase Receipt in a format accepted on the Online Entry Form; and
vi. indicating their acceptance of these Conditions of Entry, (Eligible Entry).
VERIFICATION
Entrants must retain their original Purchase Receipt from the purchase of their Eligible Product (Proof of Purchase) which corresponds to each entry they submit in the Promotion.
If requested by the Promoter, Eligible Entrants must produce, within the time requested by the Promoter in its absolute discretion:
(a) appropriate photo identification or other documentation, required by the Promoter to verify their identity, age, eligibility to enter the Promotion and claim a prize (if drawn) and compliance with these Conditions of Entry; and
(b) their Proof of Purchase that corresponds to all entries they have submitted in the Promotion.
If the items required by the Promoter are not received or an entrant has not been verified to the satisfaction of the Promoter within the time period required by the Promoter, the entry(s) submitted by the entrant will be deemed invalid. The prizes will only be awarded following all validation and verification requirements of the Promoter being met to its satisfaction
Entrants can only enter the Promotion in their own name. Entrants who enter using multiple aliases (i.e. multiple names, addresses and/or email addresses) will be disqualified.
PRIZE DRAWS
All random electronic prize draws will be conducted by a representative of the Promoter at Prime Focus, Level 1, 500 Chapel Street, South Yarra, Victoria 3141 (Draw Location).
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in each prize draw and record them in order in case an invalid or ineligible entry is drawn, in accordance with these Conditions of Entry (Reserve Entries). DAILY PRIZE DRAWS
There will be 30 daily draws conducted in the Promotion, with the first draw occurring at 12 noon AEST on 02/06/2016 and the final draw occurring at 12 noon AEST on 01/07/2016 (Daily Prize Draws). Daily Prize Draws that fall on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will be conducted the next occurring business-day.
Eligible Entries will be entered in to the next occurring Daily Prize Draw only (if any), and will not be included in subsequent Daily Prize Draws.
The first Eligible Entrant with a valid Eligible Entry drawn in each Daily Prize Draw will win a Daily Prize as defined in paragraph 23.
MAJOR PRIZE DRAW
A major prize draw will be conducted at 12 noon AEST on 08/07/2016 (Major Prize Draw) in the presence of an independent scrutineer. All Eligible Entries, including entries drawn in the Daily Prize Draws, will be entered in the Major Prize Draw.
The first Eligible Entrant with a valid Eligible Entry drawn in the Major Prize Draw will win the Major Prize as defined in paragraph 24.
DAILY PRIZES
Each Daily Prize is a Flight Centre Travel voucher valued at AU$5,000 (Daily Prize). The voucher will be delivered electronically to each winner’s nominated email address in the form of 2 x $2500 e-vouchers.
MAJOR PRIZE
The Major Prize is a Flight Centre Travel voucher valued at AU$50,000 (Major Prize). The voucher will be delivered electronically to the winner’s nominated email address in the form of 12 x $4000 and 1 x $2000 e-vouchers.
PRIZE CONDITIONS
“Flight Centre Travel Group Gift Cards – Terms of Use” apply to all gift cards and electronic vouchers issued by or on behalf of Flight Centre Travel Group (“FCTG”) trading as “Flight Centre”, “Student Flights”, “Escape Travel”, “Travel Associates” or “Cruiseabout” (each a “Gift Card”). By redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you agree to the following terms: 1. Gift Cards are redeemable at participating FCTG retail stores located within Australia. 2. Unless otherwise stated on the Gift Card, Gift Cards are valid for use within 12 months from the date of issue. 3. Gift Cards may only be applied up to the maximum value loaded onto the Gift Card which is unspent at the time of use. Where the cost of purchase exceeds the available balance of the Gift Card, the excess amount must be paid by another payment method. 4. Gift Cards may be redeemed in whole or part during the validity period. Where used in part, no change will be given. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases, but will not be refunded or credited when the Gift Card expires. 5. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded. 6. Gift Cards may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash, traveller’s cheques, cash passports or any other form of currency. 7. You are responsible for the use and security of your Gift Card. Lost or stolen Gift Cards may not be replaced or refunded. You are liable for all transactions on your Gift Card except those caused by fraud or negligence by FCTG or its employees. 8. Defaced, mutilated or altered Gift Cards may not be accepted, replaced or refunded. 9. Gift Cards may not be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts. 10. Personal information collected in relation to your Gift Card will be handled in accordance with FCTG’s Privacy Policy which is available at www.flightcentre.com.au or in store. 11. The laws of Australia apply to these terms and conditions and any disputes arising in relation to them. 12. Questions or problems relating to Gift Cards should be directed to FCTG’s Gift Cards department on gift_cards@flightcentre.com or (03) 9026 3859. Complaints about purchases made with a Gift Card should be resolved directly with the store concerned.
All costs associated or arising in connection with a prize are the responsibility of the respective prize winner.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Prizes cannot be sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, or promoted as an incentive or reward by any third party as an inducement for any person or other entity to enter into any commercial or other arrangements with that third party. If a prize is obtained through any of these methods, it will not be honoured.
NOTIFICATION OF PRIZE WINNERS
All prize winners will be notified by phone and in writing within two (2) working days of the relevant draw and names (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published at www.inteltravelpromotion.com.au on the date indicated below.

RE-DRAW (IF ANY)
If a prize is undeliverable (i.e. a prize winner cannot be contacted) or is returned to the Promoter by 11:00 AEDT on 11/10/2016, a replacement winner will be chosen from the Reserve Entries drawn in accordance with paragraph 17. If there are no available Reserve Entries, a random electronic re-draw will be conducted on that date at 12 noon AEDT at the Draw Location by a representative of the Promoter from all remaining Eligible Entries received in the Promotion, subject to any directions from the relevant state and/or territory gaming departments (Re-Draw).
NOTIFICATION OF RE-DRAW WINNER/S (IF ANY)
The Re-Draw winner/s (if any) will be notified by phone and in writing, and will be published at www.inteltravelpromotion.com.au from 03/11/2016.
GENERAL
The total value of all prizes available to be won in the Promotion is AU$200,000.
Each Eligible Product purchased counts towards one (1) entry only.
Eligible Entrants may enter the Promotion a limit of two (2) times per person for the Promotion.
Eligible Entrants may win a limit of one (1) Daily Prize in the Promotion (excluding residents of South Australia).
Any costs associated with accessing the Promotion website are the entrant’s sole responsibility and are solely dependent on the internet service provider used. Eligible Entrants must submit their entries manually using an internet browser.
The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Entry Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter the Promotion repeatedly is prohibited and will render entries submitted using such means invalid.
Incomplete, ineligible, indecipherable or incorrect entries (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion) are not eligible to win.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promotion database, not time of transmission by the entrant.
If more than one person attempts to claim a prize, the Promoter has sole and absolute discretion to determine which of those persons the winning entrant is.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes from the time of printing Promotion materials.
If the Promoter is unable to provide a prize winner with a nominated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value to a nominated prize, subject to any directions given by state and/or territory gaming departments.
The prizes are subject to Flight Centre’s Terms of Use and neither the Promoter nor its related bodies corporate, contractors, officers, employees and agents, shall be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by any entrant as a direct or indirect result of the conduct of Flight Centre, including but not limited to redemption of the Flight Centre vouchers.
If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of being run as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, network failure, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to take any action that may be available to them, subject to state and territory regulations, including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the Promotion.
Any entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry or draw mechanism in any way, engages in any unlawful or improper conduct which jeopardises or is likely to jeopardise the fair or proper conduct of the Promotion, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.
The:
(a) Promoter, the Promoter’s related entities, the Participating Outlets and all agencies associated with the Promotion; and
(b) the employees, agents, directors and contractors, of all entities referred to in paragraph 48(a),
shall not be liable for any loss or claim, action, demand, liability, damage, cost, expense or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential loss), incurred, suffered or sustained by any person or entity (without limitation) in connection with, or arising from, the Promotion or the acceptance or use of a prize, except that which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning or receiving the benefit of a prize.
Prize winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in any Promotion activity (such as publicity and photography) relating to the winning of a prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in any future promotional material.
CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Immediately upon submission by an entrant, their entry/entries become the sole property of the Promoter.
All information entrants provide (Personal Information) will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of administering this Promotion and contacting the winners.
Should an entrant's Personal Information change during the Promotion, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter using the ‘Contact Us’ page on the Online Entry Site.
The Promoter may disclose entrants' Personal Information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (The Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012).
OPTING-IN TO HEAR FROM INTEL
Should an entrant consent to receiving future information from Intel, via placing a tick in the ‘opt-in’ box featured on the Online Entry Form, information provided by the entrant may be entered into a database and used by Intel, Intel’s related entities, and/or agencies engaged by Intel for Intel’s current and future promotional and marketing purposes without further reference or compensation to them.
