How can one enter the competition?To enter the competition, participants must:
1. Visit the Promoter’s websites at https://www.billabong.com.au or https://www.sds.com.au.
2. Click on the sponsored post for the competition on social media.
3. Scan the QR code featured in-store advertising for the competition.
After completing any of these actions, entrants will be directed to the competition entry page where they must fill out and submit the online entry form. Each entrant may submit only one entry.
What are the prizes won in the competition?The prizes include:
- One (1) Otis Carey Surfboard valued at AU$1,500.
- One (1) $500 Billabong online voucher.
The total prize pool is valued at up to AU$2,000.
When is the prize draw date?The prize draw will take place on 3rd March 2025 at 10:00am.
How will the winner be notified?The winner will be notified via email within two (2) business days of the prize draw date. Additionally, the winner's name will be announced on the Promoter’s website within three (3) business days of the draw date and will remain available for thirty (30) days.
What happens if the prize is unclaimed?If the prize is not accepted or claimed within one (1) month from the prize draw date, the winner will forfeit the prize. The Promoter will then award the prize to a reserve winner or conduct an unclaimed prize draw.
Are there any conditions related to the prize?Yes, the prize must be accepted as offered and is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. The winner is responsible for all other costs related to the prize, such as insurance. If the prize becomes unavailable, a similar prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
What legal conditions apply to entrants?Entrants release the Promoter and any partners from any claims, losses, or damages related to their participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches the terms or engages in improper conduct.
