WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over, who a) have successfully completed English to Australian Year 12 level; and b) are available to redeem the “Cosmopolitan intern” component of the prize which involves up to two days a week at the Cosmopolitan Office at 54 Park Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, between the dates of 01 May 2016 and 31 July 2016. To redeem the Open Colleges creative course component of the prize, the winner must have access to a computer and internet. Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families and agencies associated with the promotion, are not eligible to enter.
By entering this competition, each entrant warrants to the Promoter that:
a. the entrant is not currently working in the publishing industry (or are currently under contract with a publisher) or currently employed (at time of prize redemption) with a competitor to the Promoter;

By entering this competition, each entrant warrants to the Promoter that:
a. the entrant is not currently working in the publishing industry (or are currently under contract with a publisher) or currently employed (at time of prize redemption) with a competitor to the Promoter;
b. the entrant has not been recognized previously as an established journalist / writer in that industry; and
c. the entry (including but not limited to any written material provided) and any other work subsequently submitted is an original artistic work of the entrant which has never been published in any nationally circulated publication and does not infringe rights of any third party.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The competition commences on 29 February 2016 and closes at 23:59pm (AEDST) on 21 March 2016. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at Bauer Media, 54 Park Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000 and will begin on 29 March 2016. The winner will be notified by telephone and e-mail using the contact details provided in their entry.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, individuals must:
d. go to http://www.cosmopolitan.com.au/win/ during the competition period and follow the prompts to the competition page;
e. complete the entry form including their full name, mailing address, current valid email address, date of birth, daytime Telephone number;
f. choose their preferred Open Colleges area and course;
g. answer the competition question in 100 words or less “how this course would help you be an amazing intern at Cosmo?” and
h. submit the entry as instructed.
One entry per person will be permitted.
PRIZE:
The best (1) valid entry as determined by the judges will be deemed the major prize winner and will win:
• a choice of one (1) Open Colleges creative course from the following course areas: Beauty (option of 5 courses to choose from), Design & Photography (option of 19 course to choose from), and Writing & Journalism (option of 15 to choose from). Prize is valued between $1000 - $10,000. Prize value may vary depending on course option taken by winner.
• an internship at the Cosmopolitan office at 54 Park Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, between the dates of 1 May 2016 to 31 July 2016 for up to 2 days per week during this date period.
The total prize pool is valued at up to $10,000 (including GST) depending on the winner’s choice of Open Colleges course. For the removal of doubt the minimum prize pool is valued at up to $1000 and the maximum prize pool is valued at up to $10,000. All ancillary costs associated with redeeming any component of the prize are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
