WHO CAN ENTER:
Entry is open to residents of Australia who are aged 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its agencies and venues/outlets associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The competition takes place monthly and is ongoing. Entries must be received by the Promoter between 12.00am (EST) on the first day of the month, and 11.59pm (EST) on the last day of the month (the “Submission Period”) and shortlisted entries will be posted to the Dare Competition Page (dareicedcoffee.com.au/competitions)for voting during the following month ("Voting Period"). Entries received after 11.59pm (EST) on the last day of a month will be considered to be part of the following month's entry pool. Failure to meet all of the requirements listed in this paragraph 3 will mean an entry is invalid. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries submitted for any element of this promotion will be deemed invalid.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter entrants must during the Submission Period:
(a) In forty (40) words or less, write an original ‘brainfail’ story that complies with the Submission Criteria (found in the schedule to these terms and conditions);
(b) complete and submit the entry form with:
(i) The entrant’s full name;
(ii) The entrant’s email address;
(iii) The entrant’s residential postcode; and
(iv) The 40 word or less brain fail story; and
(c) Indicate their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
PRIZE:
The Major Prize winner will be the story with the highest number of votes at the conclusion of the Voting Period, as detailed in section 14. The votes are automatically counted at the conclusion of the Voting Period, and the winner will be published based on the final vote tally. Major Prize consists of a gift card to the value of $1,500 (Gift Card). There is 1 Major Prize to be awarded. Total RRP value of prizes = $1,500. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Gift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 96 138 299 288) (the "Gift Card Supplier") and Emerchants Ltd (ABN 30 131 436 532) available online at . Gift Cards expire 12 months from issue. The gift card cannot be used to obtain any cash advance and is not redeemable for cash. Gift Cards should be treated like cash; lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced or refunded. If the cost of a purchase exceeds the gift card balance, the cardholder will be required to pay the difference between the purchase price and the gift card balance. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd or otherwise as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize, except for any loss, damage or injury which is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or which the Promoter otherwise cannot exclude by law.
