Pentridge Prison Events are hosting tours of D Division at the old “Coburg College”, famous for being the site of the hanging of Ronald Ryan – the last hanging in Australia. It is also the former home of Mark “Chopper” Read, Julian Knight, the “Brownout Strangler” Ed Leonski, and other high-profile criminals.
The tours will operate on Friday mornings and run for approximately an hour, including a detailed walk through D Division’s gallows, exercise yards and surrounding sites around Pentridge.
