TERMS & CONDITIONS: Hoarders Come Clean Competition
Information of how to participate in the Hoarders Come Clean Competition between 8 April, 2016 – 9 May, 2016 (“the competition”) forms part of these terms and conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA) ABN 98 065 814 315 of Level 8, 71 Walker St, North Sydney NSW 2060 (“AMTA”).

Information of how to participate in the Hoarders Come Clean Competition between 8 April, 2016 – 9 May, 2016 (“the competition”) forms part of these terms and conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA) ABN 98 065 814 315 of Level 8, 71 Walker St, North Sydney NSW 2060 (“AMTA”).
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
Employees of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion (AMTA, Republic of Everyone, The Bravery, Storage King, The Finishing Touch and Peter Walsh Design) are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.
To enter, entrants must have completed the electronic submission form on the competition landing page (http://mobilemuster.com.au/hoarders). Only one entry is permitted per person. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. The winner will be selected based on a combination of the following criteria; number of old phones in possession, individual who is the most in need of Peter Walsh’s professional organisation services and creativity of response as deemed by AMTA.
The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry that, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language, or incoherent / in-complete content. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All entries become and remain the property of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion (AMTA).
Winner of the competition must be 18 years old and over and residents of Australia, with an Australian home and mailing address.
The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
The promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize of equal value at their discretion.
Prize cannot be gifted to other persons. Should the winner not be able to complete all aspects of the prize within the period of prize validity, the remaining items shall be forfeited without any replacement for their value. Prize winners will be required to agree to Storage King’s Terms & Conditions when booking storage facilities, otherwise prize will be forfeited. If the prize is forfeited then the promoter reserves the right to re-allocate any forfeited prizes onto a runner-up or newly announced winner at the promoter’s discretion.
Competition winner can only redeem the Storage King storage unit at the participating Storage King stores.
If the location of the stores are not suitable for the winner then the storage unit element of the prize is voided. This is not transferrable and not redeemable for cash.
Total prize is $1,800.00 for storage. Can be used for a 12 month period from the date of the winner being announced.
If total value of storage prize is not used, the remaining amount cannot be redeemed for cash.
Storage King storage unit is subject to availability on required sizes.
This prize is available for new customers only and is subject to store terms and conditions with storage
Perishable or explosive items cannot be stored.
Padlock not provided, winner must provide padlock for space at their own expense.
The cost of insurance within the Storage King facility is at the competition winner’s at own expense. Storage insurance is recommended but optional. Subsidy excludes insurance costs. Insurance starts at approximately $1.50 per $1,000 cover per month.
On acceptance of the competition prize, the winner acknowledges that they have read and agree to Storage King’s booking conditions and Peter Walsh’s conditions.
The prize will include:
Peter Walsh consultation/s: three (3) x one (1) hour sessions, initial meet & greet, action plan delivery, post action plan implementation follow up.
The transformed space will be a home office or agreed upon single room equivalent (subject Peter Walsh’s discretion).
Full package to be redeemed between 10 May 2016 – 31 May 2016
Only the first meet and greet session to be in person between 9am-12pm on the 17th of May, only if the winner is in within a radius of 10km to a central business district in Sydney. Alternatively, to be conducted via Skype. The consultation times are dependent upon and must be arranged at the discretion of Peter Walsh and his availability.
One (1) Peter Walsh DVD titled “It’s All Too Much” and two (2) books titled “Enough Already” and “Lighten Up”
Storage King sponsored The Finishing Touch Packing Voucher to the value of $295.00. This includes; two (2) professional packers for two (2) hours, or one (1) professional packer for (four) 4 hours, metro locations only; within a 50km radius of the Central Business District (in any capital city within Australia)
Storage King to provide a medium moving pack – competition winner will be required to arrange pick up at his or her own cost. Pack is ideal for a unit or small house and consists of:

One (1) x Port-a-robe
Two (2) x Storage Bags
Two (2) x Flat Packs
Two (2) x Archive Boxes

Storage King is providing a complimentary storage unit to the value of $1,800.00 or twelve (12) months’ storage. NOTE: An ideal de-cluttering size is about a quarter of a garage. If the winner takes a space of this size, the $1,800 subsidy will cover approximately twelve (12) months. If the winner takes a larger size than this, then the monetary amount will subsidise the total cost of the unit.
Total prize is to the value of $3,230 AUD.
Any additional costs incurred in the organisation process including storage units, home organisation facilities or homewares, items of a personal nature are the responsibility of the winner. Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
The promoter, Storage King, The Finishing Touch, Peter Walsh and Peter Walsh Design shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
The prize is subject to availability and blackout periods may apply as determined by AMTA, Storage King and Peter Walsh Design. The prize is valid from May 10 2016 – May 31 2016.
Promotion commences 8 April 2016. Entries close 9 May 2016. The promoter can, at any point and for any reason, extend the duration of the competition and this is up to their discretion.
By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
The information you are asked to provide to the AMTA is personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. AMTA will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
All entries become the property of the promoter and the AMTA. The promoters and AMTA may use the entrant's names, literary pieces and visual assets (i.e. photography) for any commercial and media purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes. Media content can be published in an anonymised format if this is the desire of the successful applicant. Winner must agree to take part in media interviews over the phone, email or in person.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
Entries will be judged at The Bravery offices (Level 1, 116 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, Sydney, NSW) on Tuesday May 10 2016 and the winner’s name and competition entry details will be published on MobileMuster’s website and social media channels, which is the official recycling program of the mobile phone industry managed on behalf of the industry by AMTA, in Peter Walsh’s e-newsletter and social media channels and through other media outlets around Australia through a public relations campaign
The winner will be notified by phone or in writing by email within five (5) working days of the conclusion of the competition.
If the AMTA is unable to contact the winner within 7 days of the draw and AMTA has made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant then AMTA will award the prize to another valid entrant, conditional upon Peter Walsh’s availability.
All entrants who choose to ‘opt-in’ consent to have their contact details (title, first name, surname, email, mobile or landline phone number, mailing address and post-code only), released to MobileMuster and receive ongoing marketing material and correspondence from MobileMuster.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
