TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. Entry is open to residents from South Australia, aged 18 years and over only. The travel companion of the winner must also be 18 years or older. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
4. Entrants may only enter once.
5. Promotion commences on 26 August 2018 and closes on 19 October 2018 (“Promotional Period”).
6. There is 1 prize in total. Includes two (2) return Qatar Airways economy class tickets departing from Adelaide International Airport to Barcelona departing 12 March 2019 & returning 22 March 2019. An 8 day, 7 night Mediterranean cruise aboard MSC Meraviglia for 2 adults staying in an Inside Bella (I1) cabin, twin share. Cruise departs Barcelona on 14 March 2019. Cruise Barcelona to Barcelona with ports of call in Marseille (France), Genoa (Italy), Citavecchia (Italy), Palermo (Italy) & Valletta (Malta). 1 night pre-cruise & 1 night post-cruise in Barcelona staying at a 3 star hotel is also included with transfers from airport – hotel – cruise terminal – hotel – airport in Barcelona. Air & port taxes are excluded from the prize and are payable by the prize winner. MSC Cruises port charges are $175 per person & Qatar Airways’ taxes are $534 per person (correct as at 16 August 2018 & is subject to change). Total prize value is $8736.
7. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
8. Qatar Airways: If prize winner wishes to extend their stay in Europe, prize travel must be completed in March 2019, and is subject to availability. The winner and their travel companion will not accrue any frequent flyer points on the prize travel, nor will they have access to Premium airport lounges. Airfare prize inclusions and details are correct as at 20th August 2018 however subject to change, withdrawal or removal at any time without advance notice. Once airfare is booked and confirmed, any changes are subject to full cancellation and change conditions.
9. MSC Cruises: Changes to numbers of passengers, addition of passengers including children, split in travel arrangements, upgrades of cabin or change to specified cruise itinerary will require additional payment by prize winner in AUD dollars at rate advised by MSC Cruises at time of booking.
Once cruise prize is booked all MSC Cruises terms, cancellation and conditions will commence as per current terms and conditions or above specified. 10. The final prize draw will take place at 12:00pm ACST 22 October 2018 at Holidays of Australia and the World. All valid entries received within the Promotional Period will be entered into the Prize draw. This is a game of chance and the winner will be drawn through an automated electronic system.
11. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing via email, and the winner’s name published on www.holidaysofaustralia.com.au on 22 October 2018. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Prize claim date & time: 22 January 2019. If a prize is not claimed by the prize claim date, the winner forfeits the prize and a new winner will be drawn on 23 January 2019. The new winner will be notified by phone and in writing via email, and the new winner’s name published on www.holidaysofaustralia.com.au on 23 January 2019.
13. Any and all costs associated with collecting the prize including but not limited to taxes, transport, accommodation, meals, beverages, on-board account, travel insurance, passports, visas, excess baggage and items of a personal nature are the sole responsibility of the Participant.
14. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal or greater value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
15. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
16. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
