The promoter is Internet Services Australia Pty Limited (trading as “THE ICONIC”) of Level 18, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, ACN 152 631 082.
Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry into the competition is free (excluding internet charges) and is only open to entrants who are 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of THE ICONIC and its related entities are ineligible to enter.
The promotion is open to residents of Australia only.
The Competition commences at 8:00am 17 November 2016 and ends at 11:59am (AEDT) on 11 December 2016. To enter the promotion, entrants must:
(a) visit theiconic.com.au;
(b) visit the THE ICONIC GOES TO LA LA LAND competition page http://www.theiconic.com.au/la-la-land/; and
(c) in 25 words or less explain “Your perfect outfit, for your perfect day in LA LA LAND and you could win a trip you could only dream of!” and submit the entry as instructed.
One entry per person permitted.
Entrants warrant to the Promoter that their entries submitted are original and independent work of the entrants that do not infringe the rights of any third parties. If the entries or any part of the entries were provided by a third party, the entrants warrant that they have obtained the relevant copyright permission to submit the entries for the purposes of this Competition. Entries must not be offensive, defamatory or racist. Any entry which the Promoter deems inappropriate will be invalid. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
One (1) best valid entry (Travel Prize Winner) and two hundred (200) runner-up entries (Movie Prize Winner) (together as “the Winners”) will be selected at 12:00pm (AEDT) on 4 December 2016 by the Promoter at Level 18, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered.

The Travel Prize is valid for travel from 1 February 2017 to 30 November 2017, other than school holiday periods applicable to your state or city in Australia and New Zealand.
The Travel Prize is valid for two adults (aged 18 years or older), and one traveller must be the Travel Prize Winner. The Travel Prize Winner and their chosen guest MUST travel together and share the same itinerary. Both the Travel Prize Winner and their chosen guest are responsible for obtaining all passports, visas and other travel documents required to enable them to take this prize.

All other expenses and any additional spending money and the costs of flights, meals, insurance, taxes, extra accommodation, items of a personal nature, travel to and from the departure point (which shall be the capital city in the state of the Travel Prize Winner), additions to stipulated itineraries and offered flights and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the Travel Prize Winner and their chosen guest.

The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. It is the sole responsibility of the Travel Prize Winner and their chosen guest to first check with all government travel advisory information regarding the safety and situation of the destination of their chosen destination/event.
In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, the Travel Prize Winner does not take a component of the Travel Prize, that component will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that component of the Travel Prize.
The Movie Prize Winners will each receive an in season double pass to see LA LA LAND. Tickets are valid from December 28th, 2016 until the end of the film’s theatrical season at all participating cinemas including selected independents. Tickets are not valid on public holidays, discount days and after 5pm on Saturdays.
The movie ticket is valid even with “No Free Tickets” listing.
The movie ticket is valid for the redemption of two adult tickets to one session of LA LA LAND.
The movie ticket must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, for sale, transferable or redeemable for cash.
The movie ticket does not guarantee admission and is subject to seat availability. Check cinemas for session times.
Discount days vary between cinemas, please check beforehand to avoid disappointment.
The movie ticket must be exchanged at the box office for a valid ticket at any participating cinema, please call ahead to avoid disappointment.
The movie ticket is not valid for online or mobile ticketing.
The movie ticket is for single use and must be surrendered upon redemption.
Not valid at HOYTS LUX, Bean Bag Cinema, Xtremescreen, HOYTS IMAX®, 3D or Special Event screenings; Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Gold Class, VMAX and 3D; GU Film House VMAX and 3D; Event Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX and 3D; Dendy Lounge or Premium Lounge Cinemas; Nova Deluxe; Village Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX or Digital 3D; Ace Gold Lounge and Titan XC; Grand Gold Lounge and Grand Cinemax; State Cinema Tasmania; Ballina Fair Cinemas; United Cinemas Grand Seating; Reading Cinemas Gold Lounge, Premium or TITAN XC.
The Winners will be notified via email that they have used to submit their entry by 1:00pm (AEDT) on 14 December 2016. The Winners will have 4 business days to respond, or will be deemed to have forfeited their prize. Should this occur, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to other entrants.
Should the major prize be unclaimed a new winner will be selected at 12:00pm (AEDT) on 21 December 2016 at Level 18, 338 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, and the new winner will be notified by email by 5:00pm (AEDT) on 21 December 2016.
The prices are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. The prizes must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible. The clause does not set out to limit any rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The Promoter reserves the right to resolve any discrepancies, disputes or otherwise unforeseen circumstances as they deem fit and the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding upon all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter expressly reserves the right to change or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services. Automated entry software or spamming that allows an entrant to enter multiple times is prohibited and all entries submitted by that entrant will be deemed invalid.
If the Competition is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserve the right (subject to any applicable law) in their sole discretion to cancel the Competition or disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.

All entries become the property of the Promoter who may use the entrants’ names and entries for any commercial purpose, including future promotion marketing and publicity purposes.
