Australian residents aged 18 years or over are eligible to enter this Promotion, excluding residents of Tasmania and Northern Territory. Employees of the Promoter (or any related entity of the Promoter) and their Immediate Families are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
2. Entry
By entering this Promotion, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. Entrants agree to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and to receive deal email alerts (that they can opt-out of at anytime). A person may only enter this Promotion once and must enter this Promotion during the Promotion Period. The Promoter may deem an incomplete entry invalid. To enter, entrants must complete the online entry form available at www.scoopon.com.au/promo/FijiHolidayGiveaway, telling us their full name, email address, contact number, postcode and uploading their favourite holiday photo.
3. Prize
There will be 1 prize (1 winner). The winner will receive a holiday to Fiji for two (2) adults and two (2) children under 12 years old, consisting of:
• Return international economy airfares from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Nadi, Fiji, including:
o 1pieceofcheckedluggageperperson(maximumweightof23kilogramspertraveller);
o 1pieceofcarryonluggageperperson(maximumweightof7kilogramspertraveller);and
o 1 on-board meal per traveller. Depending on the flight schedule, breakfast, lunch, dinner or a
snack will be served.
• 7 nights of accommodation at the Treasure Island Resort, on Treasure Island, staying in a Run of the
House Bure (accommodation will be for either the Island Bure or Ocean View Bure, depending on
availability); and
• Daily breakfast for all guests.
The total prize pool will be valued at up to $13,844. Prize is valid from the 28th of October 2016 to 17th of September 2017, excluding the following black out periods:
• 24th of December 2016 to 10th of January 2017;
• 1st of April 2017 to 24th of April 2017; and
• 24th of June 2017 to 18th of July 2017.
Preferred travel dates are subject to availability. Travel must be booked by the 20th of February 2017. Flights are available for departure from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane only - if the winner does not reside in one of the included departure cities, they will be required to cover the costs of the connecting flight. Spending money, meals and any other expenses not explicitly stated as an inclusion of the prize are excluded. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash. If the prize is not redeemed during the validity period, the prize will be void. Travel insurance is recommended. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute that Prize with a prize that is equal in value or type, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The Prize will be subject to the terms and conditions of the providers of the Prize.
4. Draw
This is a game of skill. The winner will be chosen based on the photo uploaded during the entry process. The winner of the prize will be drawn at 10am AEDT 31st of October 2016. The draw for the prize will take place at the Promoter’s office at the end of the Promotional Period.
5. Winner
The winner of the prize will be announced on the Promoter’s Facebook page and website (www.scoopon.com.au) from 12pm AEDT 31st of October 2016. The winner of the prize must sign any release form that may be required by the Promoter or supplier of a prize. After announcement of the winner, the Promoter will notify the winner via email and phone to arrange delivery of the prize.
6. Unclaimed or forfeited prize
If a prize is unclaimed or forfeit, the Promoter will draw a winner for the unclaimed prize 3 months after the initial draw at 10am AEDT on the 31st of January 2016, using the same method specified in section 4 and will notify the winner using the same method specified in section 5. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office.
7. Forfeited prize
The Promoter may forfeit a prize if a winner refuses to sign any release form specified in section 5 or a winner refuses to accept a prize in accordance with these terms.
8. Entrant’s personal information
By entering this Promotion, the entrant consents to:
a. the Promoter, or any of its affiliated entities, using the entrant’s details for future marketing and promotional purposes, except if notified otherwise by the entrant;
b. if entrants are winners, the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and voice in any media platform; and
c. disclosing the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including agents, contractors and suppliers of the Promoter.
9. Promoter’s rights
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, who tampers with the entry process or who uses automated entry software or other mechanical or electronic means that allows a person to automatically enter repeatedly. The Promoter may either disqualify an entrant or modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion if this Promotion is interfered with or this Promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably expected due to a reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
10. Promoter’s liability
To the maximum extent permissible by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability (including death or personal injury) that may be suffered or incurred by a person in entering this Promotion or accepting and using the prizes, howsoever arising. If the Promoter is liable, the Promoter’s liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or services. This section 10 does not alter a person’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
