Greening Australia ‘Fish Up Your Face’ competition terms and conditions:
1. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
2. Employees of the Promoter (Greening Australia) and its sponsoring partners are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.
Greening Australia ‘Fish Up Your Face’ competition terms and conditions:

3. To be eligible to win, entrants must at a minimum:
• make a one-off donation on the Fish Up Your Face competition page (www.fishupyourface.com.au)
• Share an image via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or upload a photo on (www.fishupyourface.com.au)
with the hashtag #fishupyourface OR #Reefaid, OR both.
4. Only one entry into the competition is permitted per person. The first photo and donation submitted will
comprise the entry. Any additional photos posted or donations made will be gratefully received but will not
result in additional entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
5. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous,
inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will
be entered into.
6. All entries become and remain the property of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion
(Greening Australia).
7. Winners of the competition must be a minimum of 18 years old and over and residents of Australia or have
received permission from their parent or guardian to enter.
8. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances
outside its control.
9. Prize includes a trip to the Barrier Reef comprising of four return economy flights on Virgin Australia from your
nearest capital city in Australia to Cairns. With five nights in 5-star accommodation thanks to Accor Hotels at Pullman Cairns International in a Harbour View room including Wifi and full buffet breakfast in Coco’s Restaurant daily for 2 adults and 2 children. And voucher for two adults and 2 children for a day cruise to the Outer Barrier Reef thanks to Quicksilver Group. Any additional spending money, flights, meals, insurance, taxes, passports, visas, extra accommodation, items of a personal nature, inoculations, travel to and from departure point, additions to stipulated itineraries and offered flights and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
10. Prize availability: the prize is subject to availability as determined by Accor Hotels, Virgin Australia and Quicksilver Group:
• Pullman Cairns International accommodation prize is valid from 1stof September 2016 – 30thof June 2017 subject to availability at the time of booking and with the exception of the following block out
periods:
o 24/12/2016 to 02/01/2017 o 24/01/2017 to 08/02/2017.
• The Virgin Australia prize certificate expires on 30/06/17.
• The Quicksilver Cruise prize certificate expires on 30/06/17.
11. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited
to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the
prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
12. The prize is non-transferrable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of
this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged for another itinerary. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. All parties must travel together.
13. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for an itinerary of equal value at their discretion.
14. Prize cannot be gifted to other persons in lieu of the winner not being able to travel. Should the winner not be able to complete all aspects of the itinerary within the period of prize validity, the remaining items shall be forfeited without any replacement for their value. Prize winners will be required to agree to and sign to Accor Hotel and Virgin Australia’s booking conditions when booking itinerary otherwise prize will be forfeited.
15. Once prize has been confirmed by Accor Hotels, Virgin Australia and Quicksilver Cruises, the prize is deemed non-transferrable.
16. On acceptance of the competition prize, the winner acknowledges that they have read and agreed to Accor Hotel, Virgin Australia and Quicksilver Group’s booking conditions.
17. The winner is required to obtain the relevant & suitable travel insurance at their own expense in order to be able to take the competition prize. It is the traveler’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to,
18. Valid passports, visas, and health requirements, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveler/s.
19. Promotion commences 12.00am AEST 14 October 2016. Entries close 11.59pm AEST 28 November 2016.
20. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these
rules.

22. The information you are asked to provide to Greening Australia is personal information and is protected by the
Privacy Act 1988. Greening Australia will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance
with the Privacy Act 1988
23. All entries become the property of the promoter (Greening Australia). The Promoter may use the entrant's names
and photos for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes. All
shared images will be posted/shared to the Fish Up Your Face competition page (www.fishupyourface.com.au)
24. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
25. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by Accor
Hotels, Virgin Australia, Quicksilver Group or Greening Australia then the prize will be forfeited by the winner
and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
26. Entries will be judged during the first week of December, 2016 and the winner’s name will be published on the
Competition page, and Greening Australia’s social media channels within 30 days.
27. The winner will be notified in writing by email and over the phone within thirty (30) working days of the
conclusion of the competition.
28. If Greening Australia is unable to contact the winner within 30 days of the draw and Greening Australia has
made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant then Greening Australia will
award the prize to another valid entrant.
29. All entrants who choose to ‘opt-in’ consent to have their contact details (title, first name surname, email, mobile
or landline phone number, mailing address and post-code only), released to Accor Hotels, Virgin Australia and Quicksilver Cruises and receiving ongoing marketing material and correspondence from Virgin Australia, Accor Hotels, Quicksilver Cruises and Greening Australia.
Virgin Australia prize terms and conditions
1. The Prize Certificate expires on 30/06/16. The Expiry Date cannot be extended. Your outbound flight must depart prior to the Expiry Date of this Prize Certificate.
2. Both the Prize Certificate and flights are non-redeemable for cash.
3. Tickets redeemed under this Prize Certificate are valid on Virgin Australia operated flights only and not code
share services.
4. Tickets are non-transferrable (i.e. no name changes allowed after ticketing).
5. Tickets are for 4 passengers to travel together on the same booking.
6. Flights are subject to availability.
7. All bookings need to be made at least 7 days prior to travel.
8. Bookings can be requested via email at prizewinners@virginaustralia.com, Monday - Friday between 09.00 -
17.00 AEST.
9. Any changes to bookings once ticketed will incur a $50 change fee per guest, per change and any change is
subject to availability.
10. Virgin Australia’s terms and conditions of carriage apply to the Ticket. Virgin Australia’s terms and conditions of

30. Passengers who do not notify Virgin Australia at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure that they are
unable to take the booked flight will forfeit the Ticket.
31. Prize Certificates or Tickets may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction
sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If a Prize Certificate or Ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, it will be cancelled at Virgin Australia’s sole discretion.
32. Tickets cannot be upgraded and are not valid to earn Velocity points or status credits.
33. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your travel companion (if any) have the requisite visas,
vaccinations, valid documentation (including but not limited to valid passports and visas) which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
34. You are responsible for all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurrent in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Quicksilver Group prize terms and conditions
1. Prize certificate entitles two adults and two children to travel with Quicksilver Cruises to experience the Outer Barrier Reef.
2. Inclusions: Return Wavepiercer cruise from Port Douglas, return coach transfer from Cairns, 31⁄2 hours at Agincourt Reef activity platform, morning and afternoon tea, tropical smorgasbord lunch, snorkel equipment (mask, snorkel & fins) and buoyancy vests, marine biologist reef presentation, underwater observatory, semi- submersible tour with commentary, fish feeding presentation by crew.
3. The prize certificate expires on 30/06/17 and cannot be extended, nor is it transferrable or redeemable for cash.
4. Travel is subject to availability.
5. The Quicksilver Group is not responsible for the loss of prize certificates and in the event that this certificate is
lost, a replacement certificate will not be issued.
6. Coach transfers can be arranged from Cairns, Cairns Beaches and Port Douglas.
