Feast, sip and party your way through an array of fine dining and casual events featuring Sunset Beats & Bites and the Gourmet Village at Leeuwin Estate.
Mingle with famous faces including Food Network favourites Rick Stein (Rick Stein’s India), Nigella Lawson (Nigella Bites), and Jack Stein (Born to Cook), who will share their knowledge and passion for cooking against the backdrop of the beautiful Margaret River region. Fishtales with Rick Stein at Wills Domain on Friday 16 November – Engage in thought-provoking discussions with insight from local producers and crowd favourite Rick Stein, as Jack Stein serves up a seafood dinner.
Sunset, Beats & Bites at White Elephant Beach Café on Saturday 17 November – Enjoy a wine from local new-wave winemakers against a soundtrack of party-starting beats. Rising star Amy Hamilton from Albany small bar Liberté is taking care of the snacking and she’s invited some friends to help with the cooking.
Singapore Airlines Escape Garden at Leeuwin Estate on Sunday 18 November 2018 – Relax in this exclusive area to sit, sip and chill away from the hustle and bustle of the Gourmet Village. With an awesome view of the Chef’s Amphitheatre, relax with drinks from the complimentary bar and enjoy this upgrade to your Gourmet Escape experience.
Feast in the Forest at The Safari Club on Sunday 18 November 2018 – Inside an old barn, feast on whole cuts of meats cooked over flame and sip on Leeuwin Estate wines. Jake Kellie will prepare an Australian BBQ at the charming Safari Club, surrounded by soaring jarrah and marri trees. It’s the perfect backdrop for Feast in the Forest, an intimate whole beast barbecue feast starring fire starters from around the world.
