1. This competition ("Competition") is conducted by Gold Coast Tourism Corporation Ltd trading as Destination Gold
Coast ABN 75-009-935-184 of Suite N301 Oracle North, 12 Charles Avenue, Broadbeach, Queensland, 4218,
phone (07) 5592 2699, (“Promoter").
2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize
information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
3. The Competition is only open to individuals who:
(i) are Australian permanent residents aged 18 years or over.
(ii) enter via https://competition.destinationgoldcoast.com and subscribe to DestinationGoldCoast.com eDM
newsletters during the promotional period.
(iii) who are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies
associated with the Competition; ("Entrant").
4. The Competition commences at 6:00am AEST on Wednesday 13 January 2021 and closes at 03:00 pm AEST on
Monday 1 March 2021 ("Entry Period").
5. Except as otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.
6. To enter, entrants must visit https://competition.destinationgoldcoast.com and choose their preferred family
holiday option, complete the online form and subscribe to DestinationGoldCoast.com eDM newsletters and
submit the fully completed entry form during the entry period. Entrants must include their full name, email,
country and postcode.
7. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following:
(i) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
(ii) a limit of one (1) prize per person applies.
8. On submission of the online entry form, the entrant will be taken to a confirmation of entry/thank you page and
can share the competition via Facebook or email. The entrant can earn Bonus Entries into the Competition if they
share via email only.
(iii) Bonus Entry Method 2 – Email Share: Follow prompt on confirmation of entry page to share the unique
URL provided with a friend via email. The entrant’s friend must enter the Promotion via the unique URL
provided to them in order for the original entrant to receive the bonus entry, max 1 bonus entry per day.
9. Entry and continued participation in the Promotion is dependent on the entrant following and acting in
accordance with Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (http://www.facebook.com/terms.php). Any
questions or comments regarding the Promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Facebook. The entrant
releases Facebook and their associated companies from all liabilities arising in respect of the Promotion. Entrants
acknowledge that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with
Facebook.
10. There is no cost to enter the competition; however, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Entrants
should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. The Promoter is not and will not be liable for any
such costs.
11. Entries must be received during the Entry Period. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete,
incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications
service or equipment.
12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s
identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who
the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry
process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper
conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the
Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's
legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
13. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
14. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
determine the identity of the entrant.
THE PRIZE AND THE WINNER
15. A single winner (“Winner”) will be selected at 3.30 pm AEST on Monday 1 March 2021 at XCOM Media, Level 1,
235 Edward Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000.
16. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible
entrant is drawn.
17. The Prize Winner will be notified in writing via email within two days of the draw and will have 72 hours from date
of email notification to claim prize. The Prize notification will state that the Prize has been won and will include
instructions as to how the Winner may claim the Prize and establish his/her entitlement to it. The Winner must be
able to prove to the Promoter’s satisfaction, that he/she satisfies the requirements of being an Entrant pursuant
to condition these Terms and Conditions.
18. Should the prize not be claimed, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at 3.30 pm AEST on 3 March
2021 at XCOM Media, Level 1, 235 Edward Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000 to distribute any prize unclaimed by that
date subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority. The Winner of any
unclaimed prize will be notified in writing via the email address provided in the entry form within two days of the
draw depending upon the information they provided to the Promoter when entering.
19. The Winner is entitled to one (1) of the four (4) Gold Coast family holiday packages listed in the table below.
20. The winner will receive a $1,500 Webjet Travel Voucher, 4 nights’ accommodation at the selected property within
their chosen prize package, a $500 VISA ONLY 1 Gift Card, a $500 JUCY Car Rental Voucher and the experiences
chosen within the package.
21. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

21. The $1,500.00 Webjet prize voucher component of the prize is subject to the following terms and conditions:
(i) Vouchers may be redeemed at Webjet.
(ii) Vouchers and unused portions of vouchers should be spent within 36 months from the date of purchase,
which is the "expiry" date indicated on the voucher.
(iii) Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable.
(iv) Webjet Vouchers are partially redeemable. Any unused balance must be utilised by the end of the validity
period. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited after the voucher expires.
(v) Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's voucher account and is not transferable. The original
expiration date will apply to any unused balance.
(vi) Where the cost of purchase exceeds the available voucher balance, the voucher holder will be required to

23. The Entrant grants these rights to the Promoter which are perpetual and acknowledges that the Entrant will
not receive any payment, royalty or other consideration (whether monetary or otherwise) from the Promoter in
connection with the making, use or storage of the Content.
24. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way
(including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or
viruses, tampering or technical failures), subject to any relevant lotteries or gaming authority regulation’s, the
Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition.
25. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for:
(i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or
by) the Promoter or any Entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer
systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise,
(ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of such communications;

26. All of the Promoter's decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. If for any reason any
element of the Prize becomes unavailable or not capable of being delivered to the Winner for any reason beyond
the Promoter’s reasonable control the Promoter will have no obligation to provide a similar prize to the Winner or
otherwise compensate the Winner in any way.
27. All Entrants enter the Competition at their own risk and the Winner accepts the Prize at his or her own risk.
To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their
personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for and indemnify the Promoter in respect of any loss
(including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Entrant in connection

28. The Entrant acknowledges and permits the Promoter during and after the Competition to:
(i) collect, store, handle, access, manage, transfer, use and disclose personal information about the
Entrant, including name, suburb, age and image, in connection with the Content. This includes
transmission outside of Australia. The Entrant may revoke its consent to this clause at any time upon
written notice to the Promoter, however existing uses of the Images and Recordings will not be
impacted by this revocation or withdrawal of consent;
(ii) contact the Entrant for any reason related to the Competition or other activities of the Promoter.
29. The collection, use and disclosure of all personal information is handled in accordance with the Promoter's

30. The Promoter reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions and/or to cancel the
competition at any time prior to the competition opening without further recourse to the entrants.
