Set in 1964, Final Portrait tells the tale of American writer and art-lover James Lord who is asked by his friend, the world-renowned artist Alberto Giacometti, to sit for a portrait. Flattered and intrigued, Lord agrees. So begins the story of a touching and offbeat friendship, as well as a uniquely revealing insight into the beauty, frustration, and at times, downright chaos of the artistic process. From Director Stanley Tucci and starring Armie Hammer and Geoffrey Rush, Final Portrait releases in cinemas October 5.
