What is the “Help us stop scams” Competition?The “Help us stop scams” Competition is a promotion run by Transurban Limited ABN 96 098 143 410, the operator of the brand Linkt, that aims to prevent scams related to Linkt, LinktGO, Transurban, another tolling retailer, or tolling in general. The competition is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over who have received a current legitimate scam via SMS related to these brands and tolling during the Promotion Period, which starts on Monday, 24 April 2023, at 12:00 PM AEST, and concludes on Sunday, 4 June 2023, at 11:59 PM AEST. To enter, eligible individuals must fill in the “Report a scam” form at https://www.linkt.com.au/stopscams and provide the required information, including their full name, mobile number, email address, the mobile number that sent the scam SMS, a screenshot of the scam message, and confirmation of whether they are a Linkt customer. They must also provide consent to participate in the “Help us stop scams” competition. Eligible individuals can enter each time they receive a new current legitimate scam during the Promotion Period. Each current legitimate scam can only be reported once.

What is a “current legitimate scam”?A “current legitimate scam” refers to a fraudulent message received from someone (individual or entity) who is claiming to be Linkt, LinktGO, Transurban, another tolling retailer, or otherwise associated with tolling, toll roads or toll enforcement designed to obtain an individual’s personal information or money or otherwise obtain a financial benefit by deceptive means.
How can eligible individuals enter the competition?Eligible individuals can enter the competition by filling in the “Report a scam” form at https://www.linkt.com.au/stopscams during the Promotion Period and providing the required information, including their full name, mobile number, email address, the mobile number that sent the scam SMS, a screenshot of the scam message, and confirmation of whether they are a Linkt customer. They must also provide consent to participate in the “Help us stop scams” competition. Eligible individuals can enter each time they receive a new current legitimate scam during the Promotion Period. Each current legitimate scam can only be reported once.
What are the prizes?The total Prize pool is $86,784.82AUD (approx.). There are 151 prizes (each a Prize) to be won during the Promotion Period. The Prizes on offer are a 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 Dynamiq, with an estimated maximum drive-away price of $79,284.82AUD, and 150 Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercards, valued at $50AUD each.
When is the draw for the prizes?A draw will take place at 12:00 PM AEST on Thursday, 15 June 2023, at Transurban Limited, Tower Five, Collins Square, 727 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008.
Who is ineligible to participate in the competition?Employees and contingent workers of the Promoter directly associated with this Promotion and employees from agencies of the Promoter who are directly associated with this Promotion are ineligible to participate.
