WHO CAN ENTER?

Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 13 years and over who have access to an iOS or Android device capable of application download from the App Store or the Google Play store. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. In the event that the entrant is not the owner/account holder of the iOS or Android device used to enter, the entrant must have permission from the device owner/account holder to use the device.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
Promotion commences on 16/03/2015 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 06/04/2015 (“Promotional Period”).
HOW TO ENTER:
This promotion will be conducted in all Big W stores in Australia. The number of Big W stores in each State and Territory is as follows: NSW: 61; ACT: 5; NT: 1; QLD: 45; S 17; TAS: 3; VIC: 34; and W 17.
To be eligible to enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period and prior to entry, download the BIG W The Great Eggscape Egg Hunt application (“App”), available from the Apple App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices.
During the Promotional Period, there will be five (5) hidden Bluetooth powered beacons in each Big W store (each a “Hidden Egg”). There will be a draw(s) conducted for each Hidden Egg, as outlined in clause 17. Individuals are required to locate a Hidden Egg in a Big W store, using the App (as outlined below), in order to gain an entry into the draw(s) corresponding to that particular Hidden Egg. Individuals who locate all five (5) Hidden Eggs, using the App (as outlined below), in a single Big W store will also receive an entry into the final prize draw (“Final Draw”).
To enter, individuals must undertake the following specific steps during the Promotional Period:
visit any Big W store nationally;
open the App on their compatible device and input the requested details as prompted (including their valid email address);
enable location services and turn on the Bluetooth function on their device;
using the App, navigate around the Big W store to find the location of a Hidden Egg. The App will include a hot/cold meter which will gauge how close or far away the entrant is from a Hidden Egg; and
Once an entrant is within a certain proximity of the location of a Hidden Egg (as determined by the Promoter, in its absolute discretion), the App will alert them that they have located a Hidden Egg and they will be automatically entered into the draw(s) relevant to that Hidden Egg.
If an entrant locates all five (5) Hidden Eggs within a single Big W store, the App will alert the entrant that they have located all five (5) Hidden Eggs and will prompt the entrant to input their first name, last name, postcode, telephone number and select if they are male or female. Once all requested details have been provided, the entrant will receive an entry into the Final Draw.
In addition to gaining entry into this promotion, individuals who have downloaded the App and are amongst the first three-hundred (300) individuals to visit a Big W store (in accordance with clauses 6 and 7a above) and complete the claim instructions outlined in this clause during the Promotional Period will each be eligible to receive the gift of one (1) milk chocolate Easter egg valued at $2 (“Gift”). Gifts are strictly limited to the first three-hundred (300) valid entrants who visit each Big W store and follow the claim instructions. To claim their gift, individuals must approach a staff member at the Big W service desk and show the staff member the App downloaded on their device. A maximum of one (1) Gift per person is permitted. The maximum value of Gifts to be awarded in each State/Territory is as follows: $36,600 in NSW; $3,000 in ACT; $600 in NT; $27,000 in QLD; $10,200 in SA; $1,800 in TAS; $20,400 in VIC; and $10,200 in WA.
PRIZE:
The maximum total potential prize pool value in each State/Territory is as follows: $110,622.78 in NSW; $58,430.78 in ACT; $54,702.78 in NT; $95,710.78 in QLD; $69,614.78 in SA; $56,566.78 in TAS; $85,458.78 in VIC; and $69,614.78 in WA.
