Who can enter the competition?
Permanent residents of Australia aged 18 years and over can enter the competition. However, directors, management, employees, officers, and contractors of the Promoter (Nine Entertainment Co. Pty Ltd), the Promotion Sponsor (Microsoft), and the Prize Supplier, as well as their related bodies corporate and the agencies and companies associated with the Promoter or the Promotion, are not eligible to enter. A spouse, de facto spouse, partner, guardian, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by marriage or adoption) of any person set out in these categories is also ineligible.

The competition starts on Wednesday, 28th June 2023 at 12pm AEDT and ends on Friday, 15th July 2023 at 11:59pm AEDT.
How can one enter the competition?
To enter, one must visit gizmodo.com.au during the promotional period and follow the prompts to the promotion entry form. The entrant must enter all requested details including Full Name, Email Address, Age, and State/Territory of residence, and provide an answer to the promotional question “In 25 WOL words or less, tell us the first thing you'd do with your new Surface Pro 9." They must also subscribe to Gizmodo Australia’s newsletter and submit the fully completed online entry form. Only one entry is allowed per entrant during the promotional period.

How will the winner be determined?
This is a game of skill competition, and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Judging will take place at Pedestrian TV, Level 1, 66 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills NSW 2010 on Monday, 17th July 2023 at 12pm AEDT. The winners will be the entrants who have most creatively answered the promotional question, as determined by the judges.
How will the winner be notified?
The winner will be notified by the Pedestrian Group within one (1) day from the judging/draw date. If the prize is not claimed by the winner by Monday, 24th July 2023 5pm AEDT, the prize will be awarded to the next best entry or the next valid entry drawn. The winner of the unclaimed prize will be notified within one (1) day from the unclaimed prize date.
