Win a Newcastle 500 Supercars Experience for 2

This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Repco Australia (A division of GPC Asia Pacific Pty Ltd (ABN 97 097 993 283) of 22 Enterprise Drive Rowville 3178.
Commences at 12:01am on 3rd December 2021 and ends at 11:59pm on 4th February 2022 (AEDST) (“Promotion Period”).
The sections on How to Enter, Draw, Winner Notification, Prizes and Miscellaneous Provisions form part of these Terms and Conditions.
This Promotion is only open to Australian & New Zealand residents aged 16 years or older who have not been discovered to have breached these Terms and Conditions.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating distributors, resellers, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entry into this Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of these Terms and Conditions generally.
Each entrant acknowledges that the Promoter can rely on these Terms and Conditions even if the Promoter only learns of an entrant’s ineligibility to enter after the Promoter has awarded a Prize to the ineligible entrant. Return of a Prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter can be required by the Promoter if this occurs.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, an entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
Visit the website: www.repco.com.au/thegarage and follow the prompts to the competition entry page.
Complete the promotion entry form opt in (subscribe) to The Garage and receive 1 entry into the draw.
Existing subscribers to The Garage will automatically receive an entry into the competition and are not required to re-enter as outlined in section 8.
Only 1 entry per person per email address, aliases or shares email addresses not accepted.
DRAW AND WINNER NOTIFICATION
All prizes drawn for this promotion will take place at Flow Marketing 121/87 Turner St Port Melbourne VIC, 3207 at 12pm (AEDST) 9th February 2022.
The first valid entry drawn from all entries received during the promotional period will win the major prize. The next 3 valid entries drawn will win a minor prize.
Winners of any prize will be notified by email within two business days of the prize draws and their name will appear on the website for a period of 28 days.
As this prize is an event, winners have until by 5pm AEDST 15rd February 2022 to claim their prize or it will be forfeited by that winner and will be redrawn at 12 noon AEDST 16th February 2022 at Flow Marketing 121/87 Turner St Port Melbourne VIC, 3220. Winners of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone and email by the 18th February 2022 and will have their name will published on the website for a period of 28 days.
PRIZES
Major Prize: Newcastle 500 2022 Supercars Experience for 2 people, prize includes: event entry, corporate hospitality, a hotlap experience, return airfares to Newcastle NSW for 2 people from winner’s nearest capital city and 4 nights’ accommodation, valued at $9,850 incl. GST.
Additional Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from local airport departure points, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.
Prize must be taken to coincide with the 2022 Newcastle 500 event held in Newcastle NSW Australia (4-6th March 2022). Prize is subject to booking and flight availability. No extensions will be permitted. Any alterations to confirmed prize details would be at the expense of the winner.
The winner and companion of the major prize is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite travel visas, vaccinations and travel documentation where required.
The winner’s location will be determined by the location on government issued ID. If the winner’s location is within 300km from the Sydney NSW GPO, then the prize does not include airfares and the airfare component of the prize is not redeemable for cash.
The winner and companion must depart from and return to the same departure point.
If the winner is aged less than 18 years the winner’s companion must be a parent or guardian
The Promoter strongly recommends winner and companion obtain travel insurance to suit the major prize winner’s requirements prior to travelling. Travel insurance is not included in the prize.
Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in agreement with the winner but if an agreement cannot be reached, the Promoter reserves the right to determine the itinerary.
Frequent flyer points will not form part of the major prize.
The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, event cancellation from organisers or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
The winners acknowledge that the Event may be cancelled or re-scheduled for any reason, other than as set out in the Conditions of Entry to the Event and the Promoter accepts any responsibility for such cancellations. The winner also acknowledges that participation in any event may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by a third party. The winner and companions must become acquainted with any additional terms & conditions of participation prior to participation in any event.
Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers and experiences may be subject to health, weight and height requirements.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, epidemic/pandemic, event cancellation from organizers or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
If for any reason any elements of the specified prizes are unavailable, subject to legislative approval the Promoter reserves the right to replace it with a prize of the same or higher value and of similar specification.
Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between the date of printing and the ultimate prize wins date.
The Promoter makes no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, in relation to this Competition or the merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose regarding any prize or any component of any prize.
Minor three (3) $500 Repco gift card each valued at $500 incl. GST : The minor prize pool valued at $1,500 incl. GST.
Total Prize pool for this promotion in Australia is valued up to AUD $9850 Incl. GST.
