Who is eligible to enter the competition?Entry to the competition is open to individuals over the age of 18 years old. Employees of the Promoter or any person associated with the competition or the prize provision are not eligible to enter.
What are the entry requirements?Each entry must be made in accordance with the provided Terms and Conditions. Entrants must comply with these Terms and Conditions, and failure to do so may result in the refusal to award a prize.
When does the competition period start and end?The competition opens at 10 am on Monday, May 15, 2023, and closes at 10 am on Monday, June 26, 2023.
How can entries be submitted?All entries must be made online on the Discover Ipswich website. Each individual entrant may only submit one entry and must complete all required fields.
What is the responsibility of entrants regarding fair conduct and integrity?Entrants must not engage in any unlawful conduct or misconduct that jeopardizes the fair and proper conduct and integrity of the competition.
How will the winner be chosen?One winner will be chosen by a random draw at 10:30 am on Monday, June 26, 2023. The result of the random draw is final, and no correspondence regarding the result will be entered into.
What is the prize for the winner?The winner will receive an overnight stay at the Springfield Lakes Hotel for two people (up to a value of $298 depending on booking and availability), a voucher for two people to play a round of weekend golf each at Brookwater Golf and Country Club ($270 value), a voucher for Ballistic Springfield ($200 value), a voucher for Sage by Luvbite ($100 value), and a voucher for Raw Energy Springfield ($60 value). The total prize value is $928.
Can the prize be exchanged for cash or other prizes?No, the prize is non-negotiable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other prizes.
How is personal information collected and used?Ipswich City Council is collecting personal information for the purposes of conducting the competition. The Council will not disclose personal information outside of Council unless required by law or with the entrant's consent. Personal information may be recorded and/or disclosed for the administration, judging, and promotion of the competition. By completing an entry form, entrants give consent for their personal information to be managed as described in Council's Privacy Statement, Personal Information Digest, and the Collection Notice.
What additional consent is given when completing an entry form?By completing an entry form, entrants acknowledge that their personal information may be recorded and/or disclosed on the Transparency and Integrity Hub by Council. Entrants also consent to their personal information being included on the database for Discover Ipswich, which may result in receiving marketing and promotional information about Ipswich.
