TEE OFF TO WIN a premium Golf experience PROMOTION
Acceptance of conditions
73) Information regarding prize and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
Conditions of entry
74) Entry is open only to eligible members of HEINEMANN & Me. An eligible member is a person who registered as a member during the competition period. Entrants must be over the age of 18 years. Directors, management, employees and immediate families of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition are excluded from this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Duration of competition
75) The competition begins at 7.00am (AEDT) on 3rd May 2017 and closes 7.00pm (AEDT) on 5th July 2017 (Competition Period).
Method of entry
76) To enter, consumers must, during the Competition Period:
i) Register to become a HEINEMANN & Me member by:
(a) Registering in a store at HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free Sydney International Airport via digital registration tablet
ii) Complete in full and submit the digital registration form, providing their full name, address, telephone number, valid email address and any additional information as required by the Promoter.
iii) Or already be an existing member.
77) Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the internet.
78) Entrants can only enter once using a unique email address in the HEINEMANN & Me registration form. All entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, or claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over mobile telephone communications networks or lines and is not liable for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. Entrants who enter using multiple email addresses or aliases may be disqualified.
Privacy statement
79) All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition.
80) The entrant consents to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use their personal information for marketing purposes. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to the Australian regulatory authorities and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
81) Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner (incl. photograph, film, file and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
82) In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
83) If entrants opted to receive promotional and news updates from HEINEMANN & Me, they may receive these updates via email. Otherwise, all details and data provided will be held in accordance with the HEINEMANN Australia Pty Ltd privacy policy. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Draw details
84) The draw will be conducted at HEINEMANN Australia Pty Ltd, Level 5 10 Cooks River Avenue, Mascot NSW 2020 at 2.00pm (AEDT) on 12th July 2017. The draw will be conducted under the supervision of an independent scrutineer and the Promoter’s appointed nominee using an approved electronic draw system. The approved electronic draw system will randomly select a unique competition entrant during the Competition Period. The first valid entry to be randomly drawn will win the prize.
Prize details
85) The prize winner will win one (1) prize consisting of:
- 4 day passes to the event incl. hospitality package (value $500)
- Flight to and from SYD (if needed, value $5k)
- 5 nights’ accommodation (value $1.5k)
- Golf Set (value $2k)
- Tag Heuer Connected watch (value $2.5k)
- Gentleman Jack (value $55)
Valued at a total amount of $11,555.00.
86) All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any transfer costs, additional taxes, insurance and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner, as incurred. The prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions specified by the prize supplier/s.
87) The prize will be handed over at Heinemann Australia Pty Ltd, Level 5 10 Cooks River Avenue, Mascot NSW 2020. Collection of the prize is at the responsibility of the winner.
Publicity
88) The prize winner must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and consent to the Promoter using their names and images in promotional material.
Prize pool
89) The total prize pool is valued up to $11,555.00 AUD (incl. GST).
Exclusion of liability
90) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
91) Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes.
Facebook and Social Media sites
92) The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using Facebook and/or any other social media site(s). The competition however, is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.
Notification of winners
93) The winners will be notified by phone and/or in writing within 2 days of the draw and their names and states/territories of residence will be published on HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free website (www.heinemanndutyfree.com.au) on the 15th July 2017. By entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published.
Awarding prizes
94) The Promoter may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of travel itinerary. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.
Disqualification of entries
95) If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 6, subject to the written direction of any relevant authority. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the matter.
96) The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
Changes in prize value
97) Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
Problems affecting competition
98) If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
Unclaimed prize draw
99) In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within 3 months of the draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct such further draws at 2.00pm (AEDT) on 18th October 2017 at the same location as the original draw as are necessary to distribute the prize, subject to any requirements of any gaming authority. Any winner in this draw will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the draw and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on HEINEMANN Tax & Duty Free website (www.heinemanndutyfree.com.au) on 20th October, 2017.
