Telephone number +61 3 9815 2015.2) Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into thecompetition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.3) If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and anything else that refers tothis competition, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.Who can enter4) Entry is open to all residents of Australia (except ACT and WA) over the age of 18 exceptemployees and immediate families of the Promoter or Nationwide News Pty Ltd (ABN 98 008 438828) or any publisher of an Eligible Newspaper and their associated companies and agencies.Immediate family includes the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step-child(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle,aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or first cousin.5) Entrants must be 18 years of age or older as at the date of entry in order to be eligible to enterthe competition. Entrants under 18 years of age must obtain the prior permission of their parentor legal guardian in order to be able to enter. The Promoter may require any such entrant’sparent or legal guardian to sign a release at the Promoter’s discretion in which the parent or legalguardian accepts responsibility for the acts and forbearances of the winner. The release willinclude the parent or legal guardian’s full name, address and telephone number. Failure to agreeto the release and provide these details will invalidate the winner’s entitlement to the prize,subject to State and Territory legislation. If the competition winner is under 18 years of age, theprize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.6) The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof ofresidency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity or proof ofregistration ownership in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entryconsidered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that awinner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitutewill be offered.When to enter7) The competition commences on Sunday 30th June 2019 at 12:00am AEST and concludes onSunday 14th July 2019 at 11:59pm AEST (the “Promotional Period”). Entries must be received bythe Promoter prior to the competition close date and time.8) The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter’sdatabase, not at the time of transmission by the entrant.How to enter9) To enter individuals must purchase at least one (1) Eligible Newspaper (as defined at Clause 10),during the Promotional Period, and must locate the promotional code word found within theEligible Newspaper. Each individual can enter no more than once each day.12) Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid, unless the entrantrequires the assistance of a third party to enter due to a disability.13) The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process,who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who has, inthe opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent,misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotionand/or Promoter. This includes, but not limited, to entrants and households using multiple emailaddresses, postal addresses, PO Box addresses or SIM cards to register single or multiplepurchases.Number of Entries permitted14) Individuals may submit multiple entries throughout the Promotional Period subject to thefollowing conditions:a) no more than one (1) entry per person is permitted per day;b) individuals can only enter on a day when they have purchased an Eligible Newspaper; andc) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements;andd) an entrant can win no more than one prize. Excluding SA Residents.15) Entrants must retain their original Eligible Newspaper(s) printed code word(s) for all entries asproof of purchase. Failure to produce the required code word(s) for all entries when requestedmay, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’sentries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.Draw and Notification of winner16) The prize draw will take place at Engage Australia, Level 8, 56 Clarence St, Sydney NSW 2000 onWednesday 17th July 2019 at 9am AEST. There will be two (2) major prize winners and 92 minorprize winners drawn from the pool of entries submitted. The winner of each prize will be, for thatprize draw, the first valid entry drawn by Engage Australia by random computer selection. Eachprize will be drawn separately from the remaining pool of entries. The winner/s will be notified inwriting within two days of the draw and published in The Weekend Australian on Saturday 27thJuly 2019. If a drawn winner has already won a prize as part of this competition, the first drawnwinner will be invalid to win again (excluding SA Residents) and therefore there will be animmediate redraw for that prize.17) If any particular draw is scheduled on a public holiday, the draw will be conducted on thefollowing business day.18) The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regardingthe competition result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with thePromotion.319) Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry. However, in a dispute, will be awardedto the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry (i.e. mobile phoneaccount holder or Internet Service Provider account holder).20) Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant'sresponsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided inan entry should be directed to the Promoter.21) Subject to State Regulation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Engage Australia, Level 8,56 Clarence St, Sydney NSW 2000 on 17 October 2019 at 2pm AEST. The winner/s of theunclaimed prize draw will be notified by email within two days of that draw. Winner/s of prizesvalued over $250 will be published in the relevant Eligible Newspaper within 14 days of the draw.
