Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to Australian residents who are Qantas Frequent Flyer members, aged 18 years or older.

When does the competition close?

The competition starts on August 22, 2023, at 12:01 am (local time in Sydney) and ends on September 29, 2023, at 11:59 pm (local time in Sydney).

How can one enter the competition?

Eligible entrants can enter the competition by registering online and then making point-of-sale purchase transactions or currency loads with an activated Qantas Travel Money card during the Promotion Period. Every eligible transaction earns an entry, up to a maximum of 50 entries per person.

What is the prize and its worth?

The prize is a "priceless New York shopping experience" for 2 people, which includes return Qantas Business flights, 3 nights' accommodation, transfers, meals, personal shopping experience, USD$3,000 loaded onto a Qantas Travel Money card, and more. The total maximum prize pool value is AU$91,029 as of July 17, 2023.

How can one earn bonus points?

By registering and loading a minimum of AU$500 equivalent of foreign currency in one transaction, participants can earn 1.5 bonus Qantas Points for every AU$1 equivalent loaded. When using the card to make eligible overseas purchases, they can earn an additional 1.5 points per AU$1 equivalent spent.

When will the winner be notified?

The winner will be notified by email and phone within 2 business days of the draw. The winner's name will also be announced in The Australian newspaper on October 25, 2023.

What are the conditions of using the prize?

The prize must be taken between April 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. The winner must advise the Promoter of their preferred travel dates by January 31, 2024. Travel dates may be flexible by +/- five days for flight and accommodation allocation, subject to availability.

How are points earned with the Qantas Travel Money card?

Points are earned based on spending: 1.5 Qantas Points per AU$1 spent in foreign currency and 1 Qantas Point per AU$4 spent in Australian dollars. Points are calculated using the Qantas Travel Money Daily Rate.
