2. Duration of Promotion
The Promotion will commence at 9.00am AEDT on 27/01/2020 and will close at 11.59pm AEDT on 17/02/2020 (“Promotion Period”).
3. Advertising of Promotion
The Promotion may be advertised through the Promoter, its advertising agencies, marketing affiliates, the Sponsors and selected charities.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand Residents aged 18 years or over. All entrants must read and consent to these Conditions of Entry into the Promotion. For the purposes of these Conditions of Entry, Australian or New Zealand Resident means a person who resides in Australia or New Zealand at the start of the Promotion Period and who holds Australian or New Zealand citizenship or holds an Australian or New Zealand permanent residency visa. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, the Sponsors and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin (“Eligible Entrants”).
5. How the Promotion works
To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit www.nbl.com.au/fansmvp and complete the following steps via the entry page, as detailed below:
A. Input the requested details including full name, telephone number, postcode, and a valid email address;
B. Vote for one (1) Most Valued Player (MVP) of the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) 2019/ 2020 season via the voting mechanism provided;
C. Accept the terms and conditions on the Entry Page for the Promotion.
D. Submit the completed entry during the Promotional Period.
(collectively, the “Entry Requirements”).
When an Eligible Entrant satisfies the Entry Requirements above, that Eligible Entrant will be entered into the draw. For the avoidance of doubt, the maximum number of entries for each Eligible Entrant who has satisfied the Entry Requirements during the Promotion Period is one (1) entry into the draw per Eligible Entrant. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
6. Details of Prize
One (1) entry will be randomly drawn from all entries that voted for the Most Valued Player of the 2019/2020 NBL season and will receive a prize.
The prize awarded to the winner of the Promotion is one (1) signed jersey from the NBL team of their choice and one (1) Wilson basketball, valued at AUD $200.00. The jersey will be signed by a selection of players determined by the Promoter and the relevant team (it in sole discretion).
The prize outlined above must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to claim the prize as stated. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash and is not transferrable or exchangeable. If the winner is unable to accept the prize, there will be a re-draw. The Promoter is not liable for any additional costs that may be incurred by the winner as a result of this prize. The total prize is valued at AUD $200.00.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Draw
The draw will be conducted by Anisimoff Legal, an independent third party, located at Suite 5, Erina Plaza, 210 The Central Coast Highway, Erina NSW 2250 at 3.00pm AEDT on 17 February 2020. The first randomly drawn entry will win the prize as stated above. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
For Victorian residents, the prizes will be available for collection at Level 6, 10 Queens Road, Melbourne VIC 3004 at a time mutually agreed between the winner and the Promoter. For interstate winners, the prizes will be sent via registered post or similar to an Australian address.
8. Notification
The winner will be notified in writing and by telephone within one (1) business day of the draw. The winner’s name will be announced on the Promoter’s website ( www.nbl.com.au ) from 18/02/2019 for at least 28 days after the end of the Promotional Period and in a national newspaper.
9. Unclaimed Prize
If the winner does not satisfy these Conditions of Entry or cannot be contacted within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with all requirements of all State and Territory regulatory authorities, the entry will be invalidated, and a further entry drawn at the same place as the original draw on the19th May 2020 in order to distribute the unclaimed prize. All non-winning entries from the original draw will be included in the unclaimed prize draw. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified in writing (via the contact details supplied by the Eligible Entrant to the Promoter when subscribing to Promoter’s customer database at the Website) within two (2) working days of the draw and the winner’s name will be published on https://nbl.com.au. This will continue until a valid winning entry is drawn.
