Picture this: an idle wander alongside vineyards in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, quietly learning about the process of making sparkling wine and soaking up the scenery. Next stop, a three-course lunch at a prestigious, on-site modern restaurant, all food and drink provided – just you and up to 30 of your closest friends.
That’s the prize we’re giving away in partnership with Chandon. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Domaine Chandon planting roots in Australia, the sparkling wine specialist with authentic French heritage is offering one reader the chance to celebrate with 30 of their friends their own anniversary – of any kind – as guests of Chandon.
The winner and their party will receive a private tour of the winery with a Chandon ambassador and learn about the méthode traditionnelle it uses to craft its wines. This experience will be accompanied by a glass of Chandon S – a new sparkling wine made with hand-crafted orange bitters, served over ice.
From there you’ll sit-down in the newly refurbished restaurant to a three-course long lunch of seasonal dishes with a French twist, care of Executive Chef Joshua Smyth. Each dish will be matched with sparkling wines by Chandon. And getting home? There will be a return bus transfer for you and all your friends from one central Melbourne location and back again.

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
General
1. By participating in the Broadsheet x Chandon competition (Promotion), each participant fully and unconditionally agrees and acknowledges that these terms and conditions are binding.
2. The promoter is Broadsheet, trading as Broadsheet Media Pty Ltd, ABN 20 131 593 201 of Level 1, 231 Smith Street, Fitzroy, VIC 3065 (Promoter).
3. The Promotion commences at 09:00 (AEDT) on 20th December and closes at 23:59 (AEDT) on 29th Jan 2018 (Promotion Period).
4. Entry is open to VIC residents only who are over 18 years of age.
How to Enter
5. To enter this Promotion you must complete the application form including your first name, last name, email address and postcode.
6. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants.
7. Multiple entries are not permitted.
8. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the competition is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
9. Employees of the Promoter, immediate family members of any employee, and any associated company or agency of the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
10. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
Draw and Prizes
1. Judging for the prize will take place at Level 1, 231 Smith St Fitzroy, VIC 3065 at 9:30(AEDT) on 30th Jan 2018.
2. One (1) winner will receive a lunch for 31 guests at Chandon restaurant in the Yarra Valley which includes:
a. Return bus transfers from Melbourne CBD to Chandon estate and return.
b. Meal and drink package for 31 guests.
3. Total prize pool value is at approximately $5,000 including GST.
4. Winners of this competition will be notified via email to their nominated email address by 17:00(AEDT) on 30th Jan 2018.
5. In this email the winner will be sent instructions to redeem their prize and the prize must be redeemed on one of the selected dates provided. At least one month’s notice must be given before the lunch takes place.
6. This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be sold, exchanged for cash.
7. If the winner cannot be contacted by 31st Jan 2018, the Promoter has the right to select a new winner.
8. The Promoter reserves the right to alter the rules of the competition at any time.
9. Only guests that are 18+ will be served alcohol at the event and must present identification if requested.
