What are the prizes?
The prize is a once-in-a-lifetime, exclusive experience for plane spotters. The winners will be taken on a car tour to the former construction platform at Brisbane Airport’s New Parallel Runway. The event takes place on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 4:45 AM to 8:00 AM. Winners and their guests must be available from 4:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
Prize details include:
- A private viewing of the New Parallel Runway, restricted to competition winners, select media members, and operational staff.
- The chance to see the first American Airlines plane land at Brisbane Airport (subject to runway operations and schedules).
- The winner can bring up to three guests (maximum of four people per vehicle), with all participants required to be at least 16 years old.
- Winners must travel in their own vehicle and provide their vehicle registration before the event.
- Travel to Brisbane Airport for the event is at the winners' expense.
What is the total prize pool amount?
This is a money-can’t-buy experience, and thus, no specific monetary value is assigned. There are 20 prize spots available, but the prize is not redeemable for cash or any other form of compensation.
Additional conditions?
- The event is subject to operational conditions, and the viewing of the American Airlines aircraft is not guaranteed.
- All participants must follow Brisbane Airport staff and security instructions and remain within the designated areas.
- Winners must claim their prize by October 21, 2024, and provide guest details.
- If the prize is not claimed by the deadline, a redraw will take place on October 21, 2024.
