When does the competition close?The competition officially closes on Friday, 31 January 2025, at 5:00 PM AEST. However, entries can be submitted via the giveaway entry page until Monday, 3 February 2025, at 11:59 PM AEST.
How can one enter the competition?To enter the competition, participants must complete the following two steps:
Step 1: Obtain a Competition Entry Ticket with a Unique Code by completing any of the following activities:
- Visiting Australia Zoo at 1638 Steve Irwin Way, Beerwah QLD 4519, and receiving a giveaway entry ticket upon paid/pre-paid admission or annual pass entry (contra/fundraising passes not eligible).
- Purchasing any two beverage products in one transaction at Australia Zoo’s food outlets (excluding alcoholic beverages and vending machine purchases).
- Purchasing any two Streets Ice Cream products in one transaction at Crikey Café, The Laughing Frog Lolly Shop, or Africa Kiosk.
- Spending $50 AUD in one transaction at Australia Zoo’s gift shops or Guest Services (excluding purchases for animal encounters, zoo keeper programs, online retail, or tours).
Step 2: Visit the competition page at [www.australiazoo.com.au/giveaway](http://www.australiazoo.com.au/giveaway) and complete the entry form. Required details include:
- First name, last name, date of birth, contact number, email address, and residential address.
- The unique code from the entry ticket, along with a clear photo upload of the entry ticket.
Each unique code is valid for a single entry only. Multi-entry attempts with the same code will result in disqualification.
What is the prize and total prize pool value?The grand prize is a Talawana X 11 LT Austrack Camper, valued at $49,990 AUD (RRP). Optional extras, accessories, insurance, personal costs, and other ancillary expenses are not included in the prize and must be covered by the winner. The camper must be collected from 1638 Steve Irwin Way, Beerwah QLD 4519, at a pre-arranged date after 26 February 2024. Ownership transfer documents must be signed either in person or via video call before prize collection.
The winner is responsible for all on-road costs, including registration, delivery fees (if applicable), and insurance. The camper trailer may be transferred to a family member if the winner does not have a valid Australian driver's license, with the Promoter's approval.
The total prize pool value is $49,990 AUD.
How is the winner chosen and notified?One winner will be randomly selected within 14 days of the competition's closing date. The winner will be notified via phone or email, and an announcement will be made on the Australia Zoo Facebook page once the prize has been collected.
The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner three times over a seven-day period. If the winner does not respond within five days of the last contact attempt, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected.
The winner may be required to sign legal documentation, including a release and indemnity form, as a condition of accepting the prize.
